At this point I'm only watching this to find out the murderer's motive. Otherwise i would have dropped this after…
same, it feels like it's dragging on. I question if Kim Do Ha actually has a purpose besides just being the center if the controversy; he doesn't really seem to do anything. If Mok So Hee went all out, this show could've been finished by now. I'm dropping the rating but I'll watch till the end to see if they do anything interesting.
I'd say he's the prime suspect based on evidence and his mother's numerous attempts to bury the case, not to mention…
Assuming Do-ha truly is innocent. It is actually his mother's fault for burying the case stopping the police from finding the real murderer and leaving Do-ha as the only suspect from the case. Of course she doesn't really care, as shown in her speech earlier that she has no issue with Do-ha being accused as a murder as long as it doesn't impact herself.
I really liked the manager at first but now erghhhh
I guess as a manager she's ok but as a friend she's a horrible person. All she gives is ultimatums to force CHJ to do what she wants so that CHJ is "successful" regardless of her happiness.
I assume that her ears ringed because he truly believes he killed her meaning that to him, saying "I didn't kill…
Agreed. So far it's well written and directed; the issue is that it's not that interesting. I'm currently watching it casually and mostly for the actor/actress but I hope they'll be some more exciting parts in the later episodes to actually make this drama stand out more.
Unfortunately it looks like it might just be the boring "MC learns that truth can be subjective and that not all lies are meant to hurt you"
Might have to drop it (ep. 7). The acting is great and so is the story line but San Young as a character is just too annoying. I feel like she’s just getting dragged along by the plot instead of actually being a main character. Might stick around for the mystery but it’s painful to watch her scenes have such little importance.
This is torture. The fluffier the show gets, the more I anticipate the other shoe to drop. The Korean romcom tropes…
Episode 9 and 10 felt like the most useless episodes. I get they want to show him growing as a leader/manager and this was a waste of time. The ending of episode 10 had no impact in my opinion.
A few things, that I did not like:First, the corruption and crimes from the beginning were never fully resolved.…
The ex was cruel and I'm annoyed that no one called her out on it. For a story surrounding emotions, people acted with very little emotion. As for the ML, I was a bit confused. I think that his frontal lobe was already damaged but he was still fine; however the doctor did an incorrect comparison with the wrong scan and thought the damage was due to the surgery. Since he lived his life being told he was a psychopath and that the scan shows a damaged front lobe (further supported by the one done by his ex), it was reasonable for him to not question it.
Went up to ep 8 (with lots of skipping) but had to go to the last ep because I can't stand watching this. It's…
On episode 5, it’s getting hard to watch. It’s a good thing he has a lack of emotions because I would’ve been annoyed enough by now to sue her multiple times.
Well we are fairly certain he was a Muslim because he was from one of the Arab countries and the character is…
It's not. Islam is a religion while Arab is considered an ethnic group. While it's a pretty safe assumption that an Arab would also be a Muslim, there are Arabs that observe other religions. This most certainly isn't a good depiction of the Arab people - they could've easily used an American or some other western nation and we probably would've been fine with it - but they never clearly stated that he was a Muslim. It's a weak argument but it's an excuse they can use to cover up what was clearly a bad writing decision.
Wow 4.2 out of 10 on imdb. And low 8 on MDL, finally, a accurate representation of the script. I get you all like…
The script is great and I think the story is well paced and the directing/editing is smoothly done. It's not complex like Numbers nor over complicated like See You In My 19th Life. Instead it's a simple romcom that's the perfect Summer entertainment.
*sighs*I'm starting to assume that this show is gonna crash hard towards the end, just because of how many pointless…
I’m not a fan of it either. It’s adding unnecessary complexity to the plot that should’ve been relatively simple. I wonder if the author had an opinion on these changes.
Read the manwha a while back and was surprised to see it being brought to TV. Big fan of Shin Hye Sun, her acting in this first episode was amazing - I really felt the confidence and experience from her as someone who has lived 18 lives. The directing of the first episode was a bit messy in my opinion but I don't typically expect too much when shows are adapting written stories as the information crunch tends to make things worse. I'm hoping the 2nd episode starts to smooth things out as I already know that the storyline is solid and the actors/actresses have the skills to make this a beautiful drama.
Ridiculous. If people like him need to lose weight for a role it's no wonder so many people suffer from a eating…
While significant weight loss is a cause for concern, the article doesn't mention how long he's been cutting weight for - safely losing 20lbs in a few months is possible. I'm hoping this was his own decision and is properly receiving diet support while doing this; it shows a dedication to the character he'll be acting and deserves a level of respect.
will there be a season 2??? We need another season to wrap it up better.
Agreed, I was a bit unsatisfied with the ending; I felt like Si Eun lost in the end. I'm not used to multi-season K-dramas but I hope this story continues with a more positive ending.
Unfortunately it looks like it might just be the boring "MC learns that truth can be subjective and that not all lies are meant to hurt you"
