Does this drama have a happy ending? (Please put answer as a spoiler) Thanks!
i wouldnt go as far as saying she betrays him at the end, shin se gi is one of do hyeongs personalities that he created because of her, for her and to protect himself they are sides of him ,and although they disturb his life he still vaules them. shin se gi was the biggest personality the one that first fell in love with ri gin the one that protected do hyeong the most so she chose what was a perfect farewell present for him that was the kiss. she didnt cheat on him or say she loved him more or anything of the sort !
Oh how much i loved the little "gift" clips at the end of each episode! i still remmembr trying to figure out which part of the episode will be continued in the gift clip....haha those were like christmas gifts for me =] absolutely loved it <3
so from what i understand from the comments its a good drama, but a 15 years differance is a bit too much...
haha i already did...(as you can see from my comment above)
this one was writen long ago.
and youre right i totaly loved it ! didnt mind the age at all
It's funny. I have Joo Won on my list of overrated actors. It's not that I don't like him; I just don't think…
you should watch bridal mask and his other work (well bridal mask in particular), he really is a good actor ( even though its -my- opinion)... what i mean to say is that he doesnt get praised for nothing, and if you loved him here(LOVED-your words) maybe you should try out his other dramas (who knows maby you'll join his fan club hahaha..=] )
i droped this drama two years ago (when it was still airing) and than suddenly saw it yesterday on drama.net .. funny how the one thing i recall about the drama is the main female leads big feet (well there was a thing about them in the story but still ...)
it's a shame really how in most of the grait dramas with love triangles the female lead has her decision about who to be with made for her by a loving second lead! cant she just be enough of a brave person to choose the man she loves now instead of the one she used to love and not end up with the main lead by default?
i really dont get why that almost never happens in drama land :(
i was reluctant whether to watch this or not because of the age difference. i really hate it when a drama is too focused on one thing like many of the other noona romance dramas(dal ja's spring for exemple) where the main female lead can't get over the fact that the man she loves is a younger man for most of the episodes (we dont see that happening in dramas where the man is older, now why is that?)...yes well its torchure for me when that happens in a drama.
now on the brightside it didnt happend here!
so he was younger by 14 years, we thought about it for a little bit and decided -so what? and we moved on with the plot yey!!!
it was a grait fluffy sweet drama to watch. nothing too serious (thank god fot that, i was so tired after a week of hard work and decided to rest a little with a new kdrama), gave it 8.5\10
well i wouldn't say this drama is boring but i wouldn't call it refreshng either like i read some people do, sure its cute and all and i like how they chose to show the progress in the story line in the begining of each episode and then "go back" in time. that part alone kept me watching this drama. there were some repetitive points in the story and i couldnt identify with the second female lead. some parts of the story were underdeveloped as apose to other parts that were unnecessarily detailed and developed. however, even considering all that the drama is enjoyable and i liked watching it (maby a little less than the other dramas with a similar consept of this year) but i still give it an 8 out of 10 :)
This drama is so boring to me.. I thought it will be a lot better. I don't know if I should drop it or give it…
Oni you didn't like this drama? i was about to start watching it and then i saw your post, so should i??? maby we should wait for more episodes and then pick it up together? we have a similar taste for dramas most of the time....
wow its possibly the worst trailer ever? am i supposed to want to watch the drama after this? i mean the trailer doesn't give up any kind of information to clear up the foggy plot...
still gonna give it a try though just out of curiosity and love fo lee dong wook
and also why does shin se kyung keep geeting leading roles when its clear she only has on expretion for like every mood and situation with slight barely invisible alters now and then??? she ruined "when a mans in love" for me, the drama could still be a little bit salvageable if it wasnt for her acting (lets call it like that )
want to give it a shot for LDW but the synopsis sounds really ridiculous.... O.o
well, back at the time i was considering watching "my girlfriend is a gumiho" that plot sounded even more ridiculous but it was fantastic; and this years "hotel king" if you consider the plot (the antire plot of it all) it was just as ridiculous as this one is....
so maby, just maby this drama would be as good as those previous two :)
If only this drama continued being as well writen and as intriguing as the first 2-3 episodes it could have been great a full 10, number 1 in people's favorites lists but well guess greatness isnt ment for every drama(or drama writer) );
but seriousely why? i just cant get my head around it, why ruin a drama that could have been so good?
Oh the potential (lol..=0)
but well it wasn't all that bad ...
32 episodes? i thought it only got 20 episodes and here i was waiting for the last 2 eps wandering how will the wrighter end this drama. Is it just me or the last couple of episodes kinda gave you a feeling like the drama was coming to an end :(
anyway, you can definitely add Cha Jae Wan to the top 10 most miserable charactersever existed in dramaland...

the drama had better storylie, though its the same plot...
