Personally loved whatever I read on the 26 episode script I bought and I would absolutely loved it if they could have added more romance stuff between the two leads. So hopefully 30 episode should do that job.

Jeeeeez it’s his agency and his boss who use his name to open up projects. Plus as a part of the deal, XuKai has to bring in roles for other lesser known actors in his agency. Agency’s want to boost these lesser known actor’s popularity so they change the script by giving them more screen time and cutting some of Xu Kai’s. Since it’s his agency’s doing Xu Kai is helpless. He’s bounded by a contract and power struggles to overcome this.

The amount of marketing other 95 actors do is insanity. They have billions in discussion rates yet their followers are not even 20 million (which they even buy). Investors know that most of the hype around them are manufactured while XK is not. And it’s evident from these past 3 ish months

They will announce it a couple of months before airing considering the producer’s track record

Greasy = oily acting is when actors do kinda too much especially in those romances. A lot of short drama acting comes off as greasy. There’s no clear definition to it coz it’s how a viewer feels. Most of the oily acting happens when holding eye contact, doing a flirty scene. These scenes require a balance of emotions and expressions to be shown without doing too much or too little. And that balance requires skill which xk has. He’s not cringy in ABAY and BCE given how dominant, cocky his characters were. I don’t know how to explain it, but basically it’s the “overdoing of acting which makes it cringe”.

He probably does receive good scripts. But the final decision is impacted by scheduling, the crew behind each project, connections, impact on subsequent projects and the company itself, costars he wants to work with . There’s so much to choosing a scrip and since some wants to screw him up , he ends up with the lesser good ones.
