I liked Season 1 way more than Season 2. For me a complete dissapointment. On the other hand, it's my own fault. I got so hyped up 'cause of all those cooperations I've seen. Duolingo, Black Ops and many others, that i made up so many cool scenarios how season 2 would look like, only to get dissapointed at the end. lol
I don't know why some people hate on T.O.P's acting or whatever. I feel like many people did not understand his character. He is on drugs, i don't know if people are realising that. He did great portraying that. He took the first pill after that girl got literally shot in the forehead infront of his eyes.

I don't know, some people wrote it's a netflix thing but... make a whole drama out of it. 16 Episodes and done. Making it 3 Season with such an "stupid" cliffhanger. Waiting for a week for an episode with such an cliffhanger is fine, but we will wait maybe a whole year. Don't know... not my cup of tea.

What is the benefit of writing something like that in the comment section other than badmouthing the actor at that moment? It has no benefit. You could talk about the drama, the episode or whatever, but something like that is incredibly disrespectful and I don't know if people like that even understand it.

Anyways.. after falling from a f** cliff, having literally minor injuries as if she fell from a bicycle. Comon... it could have portrait much better.
Lastly i feel sad to read some comments about the ML. That they don't find him good looking, ugly or anything like that. After watching k-dramas for more than 14 years, it's sad to see how much looks is important to viewers these days. I don't give a s** about looks, as long as his acting (what is important in a drama) is spectacular. If the actor is good looking but his acting sucks, i will drop the drama because normally looks shouldn't be as important as acting. Sad, just sad.
You can. There was an incident in real life, two girls got push off a very high cliff because they were asian... (yeah...). One girl died because she fell straight to the ground, the other girl survived because she fell on a tree. It is possible that you can actually survive because Sa Eon said that she fell on a tree.

First of all... I do read some comments that they think the SML (Sang Woo, right?) is the psychopath. Why? Did i miss something? I thought that while he was talking about his basement story, that he was the one sitting on the ground while the villain (that calls the FL all the time and calls her sister) killed the cat.
So Sang Woo seems like the real Sa Eon that got switched off? And he hates the "switched off Sa Eon" and wants him to get killed by this creepy "sister" villain dude?
Why did they got switched off? Cause Sang Woo wasn't good enough? Did something happen?
Why can her sister suddenly hear things? Did she got surgery while she was away?
But Sa Eon also met the FL alot of times in her childhood. So what's with that?
My brain won't cooperate with this drama, idk why. I need someone to explain it to my stupid brain, omg.
Actually i really enjoyed this drama. That it's based on real events that took place makes it even more sadder.
Would i recommend this drama? For sure. It's not bad at all. Acting is literally on point and the OST is good. The only thing i would point out is Chang wook screen time. I was pretty excited to see bibi and chang wook together in a drama, only to get dissapointed in the end.
I still rate it a 8.5/10 because as i said, it's pretty good.
I am lucky that i just started this drama today so i don't need to wait as long as 1 freaking week. both episodes are just insane.. need a new one asap.
actually, i just hope that beni will leave min jun alone and breaks up with him. she got confused with her feelings because he was there after the break up with jungo. it's not fair for min jun to live a life with a person that does not love him back as he does.
from what we know so far about the breakup, i can totally understand both sides. he wants to earn money to achieve a better life, not only for himself but also for her. to achieve that lifestyle, you need and have to work hard. i was like "stop overreacting and understand his side". but having a boyfriend you can never reach, not even in bad and hard situation, a boyfriend that shows no reaction while crying or gives a side that he does not care about anything you do, i can totally understand her and in that situation she was in, i would've reacted the same.
i just hope they clear up those misunderstandings and that they can talk about it. i really love this drama so far. acting is great, OST is awesome, the plot is great too. even to hear japanese between korean is refreshing too. i can't complain.
i'm a huge fan of pachinko. i bought the book because season 1 got me so hooked.
ngl, i do really like this drama. of course it's not better than the book but it's nearly impossible to have a drama or a movie better than the book itself. a book can be as detailed as possible, which leads it to our own imagination, which is sometimes a little tricky if it comes to a drama or a movie so i'm not even mad about it.
Every actor in this drama makes it unbelievable great. Their emotions in their voices and even in their faces shows us their pain and struggle they live in even through different generations.

some ppl state that noa killed himself after finding out that hansu is his biological father. noa couldn't cope with that. sadly im not that far in the book yet so i can not confirm it.
