Love the opening and ending song
The opening song is very powerful and moving. The ending song is more peaceful, but also touching and puts you in a melancholy mood (especially when you know that the next episode is not yet available with subtitles) T_T

I know what you mean. I feel the same way. While I don't approve of her decisions, I can't completely hate her because she hasn't had an easy life. As for She'Er, I wish he would finally start thinking for himself and free himself from his unhealthy jealousy towards Ashin Sun.

I can't seem to understand khan true intensions...one time he seems to really love A'sun and on the other hand…
He reminds me a bit of the emperor from Nirvana in Fire. He seemingly loved his children sincerely, but when it came to power, he couldn't trust them and lived in constant fear of losing control. Khan does the same thing. Once he supports She'er and other times he openly praises Ashile Sun. I think he wants to keep a balance between the two of them. Rather bad father material.

You're right. In "The Long Ballad", embroidery also plays a role. It's really funny because recently a friend of mine became interested in embroidery and keeps posting pictures of her work on instagram. Now I feel surrounded by embroidery. It's everywhere. Lol
