I know everyone is hoping for Mark and Ouwen to continue in a series of their own but I’m happy leaving things as they are…with them engaged and happy. With these writers it’s no telling what storyline they would come up with just to add drama and make money. Just look at what they’ve done to Don’t Say No. I can see them having Mark hook up with Joanna or Ouwen rebounding with his former boyfriend…And don’t forget about the parents. They would be glad to throw a wrench in this relationship. So I’m just going to look at ep 18 again and be happy that they got a happy ending.
What is wrong with this people?! It was bad enough yesterday with 'Don't say no' and now this?! They are messing…
I agree. I just can’t believe Aek. He just met this guy. And suddenly he’s calling him to take him to the hospital and spending the night? Doesn’t make any sense. And to say he only has brotherly feelings for Aue… these writers just toss anything in the air and expect it to make sense. It’s really an insult to the viewers. Now we have to watch the ex girlfriend and her tricks plus the new guy seems shady. I guess we are in for a messy ride to the finish.
They had BETTER not fuck with Leon and Pob in the last episode…
I just realized that Mame is the same writer for the bl Love By Chance. In that bl she let Tin and Can develop feelings for each other only to leave Tin broken-hearted at the end. Seems like she’s following the same format with Leon and Pob. I really hope not. The way she left Tin and Can resulted in LBC2. I wonder if she’s pulling the same stunt hoping for a DSN 2 centered around Leon and Pob. In my view this would show the storyline is not her concern. It’s all about the money and milking that cow for all she’s worth.
The real question is... is there really anyone who would do anything to get the guy he/she wants (even threatening…
There really are some fickle thirsty females in the world. I just wish bl writers would cease giving them so much airtime. Rape, manipulation, and infidelity seem to be a safe formula for some bl writers. I call it being lazy and a lack of real creativity.
You really know how to mess up an otherwise great series. Why the toxicity? Is this really how you see same sex relationships? Have you looked at A Tale of A Thousand Stars or Lovely Writer? It is possible to write a good bl series that doesn’t rely on stereotypes and intrusive feeble females. I can’t believe you were a part of LBC…so disappointed !
Thank you for the spoilers. Saves me from having to explode. Writers just love to thrust the knife in bl relationships. If you guys are up for a short sweet non-toxic bl try Tasty Florida.
It was so good to see Wayne Song from the bl Make Every Day Count . It looks like there will be a MEDC 2 with the original cast members returning. Wonderful!
Actually I could have done without the piggy s stories. Was cute in the beginning…we got the jest of it early on. They could have wrapped this up much sooner.
Overall, a cute series. Not one I will rewatch. Posting my full review soon.
I’m rewatching ep 4 with BounPrem now. Next I will rewatch ep 7 with Perth and lastly the episode with Plan. Eventually I’ll rewatch ep 1 & 2. The only one I know I won’t rewatch is ep3.
I loved this series. I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it after seeing Perth in ep 7. So glad to see these fine young actors playing roles other than BLs. Who wants to do the same thing over and over? It’s refreshing to see these actors moving forward and I applaud the production company for giving them the opportunity to play a straight character. Afterall the majority of these actors are straight. I’m sure their goal in life is not be typecast and only be considered for bl roles. There is an entire smorgasbord of genres out there and I support them in whatever project they select. If a person doesn’t like a particular storyline or episode that’s fine. Different strokes for different folks. But to criticize a series or the actors or company solely on the basis of the storyline featuring a straight couple is actually a form of reverse discrimination. These are aspiring young actors. This is their job and how they choose to make a living. This is not a hobby. Again, I represent that demographic that wants to see diversity and who respects inclusiveness. Kudos to Perth, Plan, Earth and all those connected with this project. I look forward to their next projects. I want to see them succeed and living their own truth whether it be straight or gay.
This bl series has garnered a lot of discussion which is overall a good thing. Before going any further let me say I am really enjoying this series. I have watched over 50 BLs. Some I have watched more than three times. Some I watched only once and once was enough. Because I watched it once did not mean it was a bad bl. It just has to do with my preference. Same as here. I like that this series has veered away from the usual bl formula. I am enjoying watching how the two main characters are evolving. It may seem slow to some but I think that speaks to the personality of each of these characters. I also am enjoying the support cast especially the mom. I’ve seen her in another bl in a completely different character and she is an awesome actress. In fact I think all of these actors are doing a good job. I respect individuals so I myself will criticize the characters but never the actors personally. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this ends. That will determine if it goes in my watch again column.
Everyone's story is going in the right direction. I am enjoying all the stories equally and I hope we get older…
I agree about the overuse of the line I only love this man. To me it seems to minimize the reality which is this man is having sex with another man. This is a huge step. It seems using the term bisexual is not appealing to the writers or gay viewers. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.
"If you remain silent in situations of injustice it means that you have chosen the side of the oppressor" well…
I agree. Some of the best dramas featuring straight couples show very little skin and maybe one scene where the couple actually kiss…and these are mature adults in their 30s. Why then do people hold BLs to a different standard. The storyline seems to take a backseat to the desire for more explicit physical contact… I really have enjoyed this series and the diversity. I applaud the team for going beyond the basic bl formula.
Just finished ep 6 and it was short and sweet. Yes it was bl but I’m sure some may be dissappointed. I liked it. The acting was solid. I have seen the three main male characters in other series too so I am pleased to see them again. Now I’m just waiting for my heartthrob Perth.
