It probably won’t work out that way because so far the writer is either lazy or has no intention of showing wives as strong and resilient. I really hope I’m wrong.

I have to believe this is how she has always been. For whatever reason they got married. They should still be in the honeymoon period. I know a couple who got a divorce in less than six months. The wife realized they just had different goals and before they started to hate each other they should end it. That’s what adults do. But I know this is about ratings and the focus is obviously to justify cheating cheating and put a positive spin on cheating so talking and working things out is off the table. PityThis could have been a really high caliber production. Instead they gave us a tawdry soap opera.

When a 42 year old woman gets pregnant that’s no accident in my book...oops excuse me that did happen to someone I knew. She said she thought she was menopausal????

I do agree. I wouldn’t call it abuse. She treats him that way because she can. If he had slapped her butt just once she would have either left or got her act together. Some women are like that too until the man draws back his hand and gets some hot grease on his butt, Bottomline as you said cheating is wrong. If you not satisfied speak up or leave.

To me the lawyers actions show what a wimp he is. I hate weak men. There is a man out there who could handle his wife and she would love it. His mistress is no better. She’s a 42 year old weak woman. That’s why a boy is all she can handle.

I am hoping that the docs wife will not crumble. I am hoping she has the strength to look at him with pity.,Get her daughter and walk out with her head held high and him left crumbling. He is so narcissistic I don’t think he could handle being rejected or pitied. He really feel he deserves all three women and I really think he feels his wife could not live without him. Yes she will be hurt and angry too but I want her to show him that she will not end up like her mother...that she will end up better and she will be his biggest regret. That’s the best revenge against men like him in my opinion.

I stopped watching. So sad that the writer is an older woman. Makes me think she was a mistress at some point in her life and lost out to the wife. She’s trying too hard to justify cheating. We already know the husbands and their mistresses were together for at least 10 months. No excuse. I won’t be watching Season 2.

I would say the lawyers mistress. She’s been married before and she’s older. I would hope she’d have more empathy and common sense.

They say the lawyer mistress is a popular actress in Korean so sounds like they trying to put them together. If I was the young wife I’d tell him to pack his bags and let his mistress take care of two babies. She can do much better with a real man. I hate how they are portraying the wives.

I agree...I saw the World of Marriage and it was 10X better than this mess. So was the KD A Man and A Woman. I can’t believe the Korean audience is enjoying this. It’s really making a mockery of marriage.

I have no idea what god this writer is referring to...the God I serve is nowhere in this picture. This is just smut. I would have more respect for the writer if she just owned her mess.

This is why I feel the writers are really insulting our intelligence. Does it make any difference if the mistresses are “good” people. Wrong is wrong. These are grown, intelligent women with low self-esteem and low morals. You can’t wrap a bow around poop and call it pretty. It’s still poop. Whatever happened to just say no and walk away. It’s obvious that this was just about putting money in the bank. The audience has been duped. This topic has been done much better.

I must say these are some fine actors. They must be to elicit the kind of reaction they have received thus far. Kudos to each one for hitting their marks . However, as I’ve stated before I don’t enjoy watching films about cheating and there have been plenty made. I didn’t like them as a teenager, didn’t watch them in my 20s or 30s and I still don’t. I tried watching this because I generally like kdramas but it showed me nothing I didn’t already know. It actually started out promising but around ep 7 I saw a turn in the dynamics and that really did it for me. I do enjoy reading the spoilers so I’ll wait until the finale and get your final analysis. Take care.

I keep thinking somebody involved in this drama must have cheated in the past and this is their way of seeking redemption. Either the person was a mistress or husband and wants people to see they’re just like you or me.. This is just my theory. Why else would anyone spend so much time on the cheaters and mistresses? Mess is mess. You can’t clean it up with a pretty smile and a sob story.

This should have been titled How to Cheat and Be Happy While Doing It

I gave it a 4. Thinking about changing it to a 2. I respect your comments but I respectfully disagree. This is nothing new. People have been lying and cheating since the beginning of time. Nothing new here. It’s been done better. I admit I’m bias. I have never liked movies/series dealing with infidelity. Enjoy.

Thank you. I’ve already dropped this series. If that’s true I definitely won’t be looking at Season 2. I have no desire to see a husband and his former mistress skipping down the yellow brick road to happiness. I know that happens in real life. I’ve seen it. I can spare myself. I don’t have to watch. There are so many other good uplifting kdramas to watch. I’m out. Enjoy.
