I think people kept watching waiting for that pivotal moment when the wives would take center stage ....never happened...thinking ep 16 will end with the drs wife finding out .....clifffhanger?

I agree...looking for a cliffhanger to get people to season 2...maybe they will announce date of 2 nd season

Sorry I just can’t get with Song Won. I suffered with fertility also...had 2 miscarriages and a stillborn. I understand her personal pain. It is terrible her husband left her. Mine didn’t. But that still does not justify her getting involved with a married man. I just have no tolerance for women who are that thirsty for a man. Take care.

I think they underestimated the intelligence of the viewer. I think most of us already knew that all mistresses are not bad people. So they could have saved all the flashback episodes...2 episodes would have been enough. And they really put in a lot of effort to contrast the mistresses with the wives. Again were these extremes necessary? I guess so if you want to put a good face on cheating and infidelity. I really think they could have wrapped this up in one season. Instead of 16 ep they could have had 25. Almost feels like they were waiting to see how the viewers react to the focus on the husbands and their mistresses.

I do respect your opinion and I agree we all need love and affection but at what price. We don’t just randomly act as animals do. Every action we take is a conscious decision. I have no sympathy for the mistresses. They are fully aware of what they are doing and they proceed anyway. I get that. I know good people who were trapped in loveless marriages and so felt justified in cheating. As much as I empathized with them I could not condone their behavior. I don’t like divorce but that’s why there is divorce. These mistresses are not angels. None of are. We all have flaws. I was with my husband 50 years. I was 22 when we married, spoiled, career-oriented and working in a field which required toughness. I’m sure people looked at me like they look at the younger wife. My husband was a charmer. He wasn’t a wimp like the lawyer but people always felt he was a saint(he wasn’t). Fortunately our love was real and strong enough to handle life’s challenges. I truly get where you’re coming from but I just can’t sympathize with deceitful, adulterous behavior. Keep watching. I enjoyed your analysis and perspective.

From the comments I see this was a continuation of the same ....two more episodes...your comments are a hundred times better than watching this farce. Take care.

I have no interest in looking at the lawyer and his mistress at all. They are both despicable and despite the writers obvious attempt to justify their behavior I for one am not buying it. So she suffered in her last marriage. So she had a miscarriage. Yes those are terrible things but do they justify her actions. Lots of women suffer worse and don’t cheat or willfully cause harm to someone else. Two wrongs never make a right. The husband crossed the line when he first became obsessed with her butt. She crossed the line when she allied him to pursue her. Again I realize this is fiction but they are not Romeo and Juliet. They are not teenage star crossed lovers. Please let this series end so we can all be put out of our misery.

Excellent analysis.....reenforcing immaturity of 30s husband and his deliberate deceit. Also shows how older woman continues to encourage and indulge in inappropriate behavior. Yes his wife is immature but she works hard and has really done nothing to deserve his deceit. He is a number one creep. Mistress has low morals and is also deceitful. Her alligator tears don’t impress me. She knows what she’s doing. And to bring a baby into the picture just shows how irresponsible she is.

It probably won’t work out that way because so far the writer is either lazy or has no intention of showing wives as strong and resilient. I really hope I’m wrong.

I have to believe this is how she has always been. For whatever reason they got married. They should still be in the honeymoon period. I know a couple who got a divorce in less than six months. The wife realized they just had different goals and before they started to hate each other they should end it. That’s what adults do. But I know this is about ratings and the focus is obviously to justify cheating cheating and put a positive spin on cheating so talking and working things out is off the table. PityThis could have been a really high caliber production. Instead they gave us a tawdry soap opera.

When a 42 year old woman gets pregnant that’s no accident in my book...oops excuse me that did happen to someone I knew. She said she thought she was menopausal????

I do agree. I wouldn’t call it abuse. She treats him that way because she can. If he had slapped her butt just once she would have either left or got her act together. Some women are like that too until the man draws back his hand and gets some hot grease on his butt, Bottomline as you said cheating is wrong. If you not satisfied speak up or leave.

To me the lawyers actions show what a wimp he is. I hate weak men. There is a man out there who could handle his wife and she would love it. His mistress is no better. She’s a 42 year old weak woman. That’s why a boy is all she can handle.

I am hoping that the docs wife will not crumble. I am hoping she has the strength to look at him with pity.,Get her daughter and walk out with her head held high and him left crumbling. He is so narcissistic I don’t think he could handle being rejected or pitied. He really feel he deserves all three women and I really think he feels his wife could not live without him. Yes she will be hurt and angry too but I want her to show him that she will not end up like her mother...that she will end up better and she will be his biggest regret. That’s the best revenge against men like him in my opinion.

I stopped watching. So sad that the writer is an older woman. Makes me think she was a mistress at some point in her life and lost out to the wife. She’s trying too hard to justify cheating. We already know the husbands and their mistresses were together for at least 10 months. No excuse. I won’t be watching Season 2.

I would say the lawyers mistress. She’s been married before and she’s older. I would hope she’d have more empathy and common sense.

They say the lawyer mistress is a popular actress in Korean so sounds like they trying to put them together. If I was the young wife I’d tell him to pack his bags and let his mistress take care of two babies. She can do much better with a real man. I hate how they are portraying the wives.

I agree...I saw the World of Marriage and it was 10X better than this mess. So was the KD A Man and A Woman. I can’t believe the Korean audience is enjoying this. It’s really making a mockery of marriage.

I have no idea what god this writer is referring to...the God I serve is nowhere in this picture. This is just smut. I would have more respect for the writer if she just owned her mess.
