I really don’t see the big deal over kissing . The chemistry between the two, the gestures and sincere touches does so much to express the feelings they share.

I loved this episode. It was emotionally
moving. The love they have for each other is evident. I was not disappointed.

Thank you. I actually thought the ending was romantic. If you have to die what better way than in the arms of the one you love and who loves you too. Yes it was sad but what a wild ride they had and they were both the better for having found each other. People are upset because of all the people who died that were close to Joan but that is reality. We lose the people who were closest to us but this series showed us that it is better to have loved than to have never loved at all. The last scene with him standing in the doorway with Chen’s little sister and the white cat was so lovely. Jian had a little smile. He’s not alone. I will look at the sequel if there is one...but if not I am okay. As long as they didn’t conjure up some girlfriend I am okay. They kept the focus on the two of them. They did the same with the opera singer and the young gangster. Kudos to the writer.

Why do they keep doing this? It reminds me of the Chinese drama Irresistible Love...there was such an outcry over the sad ending they actually filmed a second ending which has a happy ending.

Wow Ep 19 is soooo good... bad guys finding redemption in the end, bad guys finding out there is someone even more ruthless than you, a sister sacrificing herself for the life of her brother...this drama has it all??

I agree. There is no doubt that these two care for each other deeply. They are so protective and supportive of one another. So far I have not been dissappointed The music, the supporting cast, the setting all make this series worthwhile.

Yes yes it is a hidden gem. The main characters have amazing chemistry. There is a lot of twists and turns which keeps the plot moving at a good pace.

I’m really enjoying this once I look at it for what it is...a really cute, fun bl. The only parts that annoy me are the silly bl girl shippers. Just tell the story and let the relationships evolve naturally.

Your thoughts are right on target. I too found this series hard to let go. I don’t think any series has resonated with me the way this one has. You are lucky you have not experienced cheating. I have. I’ve watched it and what was missing from this was the actual reality. The writer chose to romanticize cheating and adultery. You ask how they could do this over 10 months. The writer chose to depict the scenes showing the husbands and mistresses with romantic music. In reality what I have seen is over months these affairs start to become cumbersome and weary. The stress levels become unbearable and like a rubber band it is stretched to the point of breaking. Season 1 spent too much time on the honeymoon phase. That’s why it got boring. Maybe Season 2 will deal with reality. Unfortunately I have no trust in this writers ability to deal with reality. The lawyer and his mistress will probably skip down the aisle with baby in tow and joybells ringing in the background. The doctor will be left with his looney tunes girlfriend and the professor will thrown himself off a cliff. Lol...that’s as much as I can expect at this moment.

Remember this is fiction. It may be based on real life but statistically the men represented in this series are a small percentage. The majority of men are basically good. They are not perfect and may make bad choices but what separates them from the men in this drama is their ability to express remorse, to repent, and ask for forgiveness. Good men feel pain and remorse. Good men are able to withstand temptation and avoid certain situations. There are so many more good men in the world. I love men and wouldn’t want to be in a world without them. The good news is you get to choose what kind of man you want to be. Take care.
