Why are they trying so hard to make the youngest wife seem so awful? All three wives deserve better. This was a hot mess. The first husband needs to grow up. That statement that he got a queen and not a wife really riled me. I just hope all three wives get retribution at the end. As for the mistresses and the husbands....I hope they all burn in you know where.

I am hooked on this drama but it’s more out of curiosity and a hope that the wives will come out of it with a better sense of their worth. As of now the husbands and suspected mistresses seem to be unscathed. I’ve seen so many instances where the wives are left bearing the shame as if they did something wrong for being too smart, too aggressive, too docile, too fat, too old, too passionless, too...too...too while the men are given a smack on the hand and told boys will be boys and the mistresses feel if the wife had did what she was supposed to they wouldn’t be needed.

Many wives have did what you suggest. I personally believe two wrongs don’t make a right. Sometimes loving yourself has to be enough until you’re in a position to make that final break. This is why I hope the wives end up with their heads held high.

It’s about the same in the USA regarding men . From my own observation when some men reach 50 they suddenly need validation.

Thanks....I watched Love In the Afternoon...I know it’s the rage now but I’m just not into any more movies with unhappy marriages. I think I was just curious since I was with my husband for 50 years and married over 47 years. There were highs and lows but the day he died we were more in love than ever. Just needed to share that on today. Thank you .

I didn’t know there was a difference in how kdramas portray cheating by women . Can you recommend a kdrama. I also agree with you. There is no justification for extramarital affairs. That is the problem I see with this kdrama.

The only purpose I have seen so far is how some women accept the role of mistress with no reservations. The writer might also be trying to show that who the other woman is is really not the point. These are three wives facing a crisis in their marriage and the burden is on the woman to fix the problem or leave. I certainly hope that’s not the message.

I think you are right. My cousin’s ex-husband never could understand what the fuss was all about. Afterall he was basically a good guy with just one “flaw”...?

Yes she’s been trying to be respectful since his father just died but she needs to be more assertive. He just calmly dismisses everything she says and she needs to finally spell out what she sees and how she feels. However it looks like she is just not strong enough. I really don’t like how they are portraying the wives unless this is representative of Asian women. I always thought they were fierce. Yes this stuff happens but I don’t know any women who would be taking the crap that these women are taking. One in the hospital with an ulcer, one looking like a timid frightened wife and one just beaten down. And the mistresses seem so happy and carefree when they are together. I’m watching but not enjoying . Of course to the writers and producers it’s all about the numbers and the money.

Yes I was so glad when he tried to take her hand and she pulled away. Too little too late....he’s a wuss ....too immature to be a father...the best he can do is pet the family dog.

What was even more pathetic was watching the father act as if his wife and children should throw him a going away party....
afterall he only made one mistake which just happens to be adultery and who stays with one person forever ...I guess I keep watching to see how callous a person can be to someone who literally picked him up out of the gutter. So far the ones who seem happy and content are the mistresses. The husbands aren’t worth a dime.

I hope so too and I hope someone wipes the smiles off the three mistresses. Each time they’re shown they seem so content. I don’t know how you can be that happy knowing you’re sleeping with a married man?

Since she was his mom since he was seven this borders on incest. I really have to fast forward on these two. They are just too creepy.

He is such a wimp. It appears as if he’s the youngest in the family and a spoiled brat so I can see a woman wrapping him around her finger. He keeps using the baby as his excuse so I’m thinking it’s the mistress who has planted this guilt trip on him. So many women pull the baby card as the last resort to hook the man. It’s sad but true . Everything his parents said was true. They know him. They know he’s fickle minded. I hope his wife takes a big fat settlement and if it were me I’d take that beautiful apartment in the agreement. All three of the men are just sorry and pathetic. Who needs that kind of baggage.

Yes it is sadly true. Divorced women still fare worse then men in every important area....financial status, societal status, emotional distress, etc...so most women hang on as long as possible especially those who are 50 or older. Men generally get a slap on the wrist and bad boy scolding but get remarried sooner and are emboldened by the usually younger women waiting in line. That’s why I’m rooting for the wives with the exception of the stepmom who is just perverse.

Same here... I think this is why it’s viewership is so high...good commercial ploy...I was going to drop it but I’m hoping the wives get some kind of satisfaction at the end.
