OMG how long will it take for Da Ho to figure out what a perfect ass Jaemin really is and let Jaemin and Kim Su ride off into the sunset. Lol I hope Kim Su enters a contract marriage with someone just as psycho as he is. Jaemin needs to end up in a dark room staring at a large portrait of himself . That kiss between Daho and Hyeon was so hot. Too bad that short sweet moment took a turn in the wrong direction.
I am looking at ep 3 and there are two things I am certain of: 1) Su Kim did not get enough hugs growing up and 2) the man needs to be on some serious medication. I am truly afraid for Hyeon. Psychos like Su Kim are dangerous. They have no filters. The scenes with Hyeon and DaOn are so sweet which is in direct contrast to Jaemin and Su Kim who both have serious issues. I have known people like them. You were always walking around on eggshells whenever they were around. I seriously hope neither one ends up with DaOn. Hyeon confesses. Wow! What a toxic mess and I am actually loving it!
So we are just skipping over the fact that she still (somehow) thinks he’s a high schooler and is not only bringing…
While I understand your concern I choose to view this as it was intended….a young naive probationary trainee and an adult undercover officer posing as a teenager. As such teenager it appears he is an upperclassman which would make him seventeen or eighteen which would make him of legal age. Of course for a teacher to get involved with a student is an absolute no no but it has happened. If both are considered adults the worse that usually happens is the teacher is allowed to resign or assigned to another school. It has more to do with conflict of interest and lack of professionalism. That said I am having a ball watching this.
Really loved today’s episode. Fa and Wine were just so cute. I really felt for Wine. The response he got from his friend and roommate was right on time.
You are definitely right, the FL’s mother is my least favorite, even less than the 3rd brother’s groupie hair…
I agree. I really dislike it when writers “dummy down” the female character. She and her mother are just being obnoxious at this point. At first I thought the rating was too low but it seems to be reflective of the acting and how the storyline is written. 40 more episodes to go. If you want to watch a really excellent drama which shows how a mature romance can be written try Love Scout.
special eps are supposed to be happy and ill die on that hill! ik Joke isnt really dead but at least they couldve…
Dont worry! I believe we are getting a second season. They kept our main cast intact. Even grandma and Joke’s father survived. The ones who died were not part of the core group. That’s a good sign.
Wow! Yin and War did not disappoint. In fact I thought the entire cast was really good. The entire gang was back and each had their moment. Tattoo and Arun were hilarious. They did not follow the usual predictable format for a special. What a way to set the tone for a second season. I loved it. There was a good balance between the lighter moments and the more dramatic, heartfelt moments. I loved the action scenes. There were several indications that Joke would survive. I read where someone said Arun dies. There was a not so subtle clue that he would be ok. And the wedding was hilarious. I dont know how anyone maintained their composure . That was the tackiest cardboard figure I have ever seen. I was rolling with laughter. There were tender moments like when Joke’s family was packing up his things. I knew halfway through that the joke was actually on us. Great job Yin and War. Get ready! Get ready! I dont know how but Jack and Joker are going to find their way back to each other.
I am really loving this. I love Porsche and Arm and how transparent they are. It is not easy letting people into your truth. Listening to the mothers and seeing how much they love their sons is so heartwarming. I understand about the photographer. Hindsight if I could have had a different one that is the one thing I would change. Fortunately my fiance was really chill throughout the planning. It was my family that gave me the blues….every cousin wanted to be in the wedding. I would have had 20 bridesmaids and ten flower girls ranging from age 2 to 22. I had to put my foot down. Needless to say there were alot of tears. My parents handled all complaints. They were my rock. Next week looks like it is going to be very emotional. I cant wait!
I just rewatched ep 1&2 and I just cant get When It Rains It Pours out of my head. Maybe it’s the umbrella and the rain symbolism. Maybe its because when I see Daon I think of Sei who seemed to be unable to break away from Jaemin. Maybe it is because Jaemin reminds me of Kazuski who was controlling with narcissistic traits. Maybe it is because Su Kim is in a class all by himself with splashes of Kazuski and Kaori. Hopefully next week I can shake this tendency to compare the two. WIRIP had 7 ep and this series has 8 so I will take that as a positive. I am wondering if this is the current direction of bls. I understand the next bl featuring Gun and Off will also include a romantic triangle and a more mature theme. I am not complaining. I love variety.
This has been a really great ride and I hate to see it end. I am going to miss seeing LYKN every week. They are just so darn cute. Best wishes to Est and William. I cant wait to see our happy ending and I hope we see them in another project.
This is some crazy toxic mess going on here. Only the first two episodes and I know we are in for a roller coasterride. If you are torn between someone who likes to beat your ass and someone who clearly cares about you I really dont have too much sympathy for you. Likewise if you have been foaming at the mouth over someone for eleven years I have even less sympathy for you. I am curious as to how this will all play out. I really like Seong but I see him getting caught in the middle of this throuple. Between the dysfunctional family and the potentially violent and abusive associates if I were Seong I would take a pass on Da On. That is just too much baggage and life is too short to be dealing with all the drama. Lol I was just talking to a relative recently about a relative of ours who got entangled with a crazy psychopath. I was in management at a large corporation. The psychopath worked at the same company. One day one of my coworkers burst into my office and asked me if I knew the psycho . Apparently my relative and his psycho girlfriend were creating a scene in the lobby. I told the coworker to close the door and continued doing my work. I remember my mom calling me and asking me if I knew about the incident. I am well acquainted with dysfunctional families and toxic people. I did not deal with fools when I was young and my advice to Seong would be to save himself and leave these three sorry weak nitwits to wallow in their own tormented mess. Of course, this does make allowances for the required drama and emotional angst . It is only eight episodes so at this point I am just curious enough to hang in there until the end.
I just started this and I am really invested. The cast is awesome and I love the storyline. People have good intentions but at the end of the day you have to do whats best for you. I am on ep 4. I am still enjoying it but a sore spot for me is watching a mature woman fawning over a man like a love starved teenager. The hair stylist is just too much for me but I will suffer through it . Each brother has a backstory which I am anxious to see to the end.
I just finished the first two episodes and I can see why it and Buried Hearts are in virtual tie for first place. As much as they are different there are also similarities. They both have handsome male leads. They both have a stellar cast. They both are jam packed with mystery and intrigue. They both include maniacal power driven tyrants who use people like pawns in a chess game. I am going to be one happy camper for the next few weeks.
