What a true gem. There is an underlying deep message about the challenges of life and how unexpected curve balls can disrupt a person’s life in ways we cannot fathom. It is a love story that survived amidst great pain and sorrow. But there is a not so subtle message about the reality of being in an industry fraught with overzealous and mentally unstable fans. Actually I dont consider these to be true fans. We read about them on a regular basis and there is a real concern for the mental and physical well being of artists who are just doing their jobs. I love love loved our mls. The scenes at the end were beautiful. This goes on my rewatch list.
Well it is over. I admit Fort and Peat were my only reasons for hanging in there. They are always entertaining and fun to watch. From the looks of the very last scene there could possible be a sequel. Bring it on!
I just finished watching. I am an anti- gun advocate. This series just reenforced my reasons why. The message was loud and clear. I would love to see Kim Nam and Kim Joung together in another series. They were awesome. No way a villain is supposed to be that fine. As much as I hate him I still wanted him to live.
I am half way through this series and although I do not advocate violence I do understand the overall message. We all have triggers. Thankfully, most of us have been able to restrain ourselves. I grew up in an environment where literally every one had a gun. They were mostly restricted to hunting but also used for self defense. But I saw what could happen if triggered. My oldest son was the victim of bullying. Of course we had no idea. Fortunately, I observed my son acting very fidgety when his younger brother started playing around an old box. He had hidden the gun in the box. It was his grandmother’s gun. She thought she had hid it. My son had been pushed to his limit. Shortly afterwards we moved into our new house and he transferred schools. I tell people not to underestimate anyone. Of course this series takes it to a whole nother level. We all have wondered how come it is so easy to get high power weapons. This series addresses that and does not hold back on the whole sordid underworld and deadly consequences. It is not just the criminals that are impacted. Actually society can deal with the bad guys killing each other. But we see old people, students, the marginalized also being impacted. It is that element that I find the most intriguing and realistic and scary. This is fiction but somewhere this is just fiction imitating real life.
A perfectly wonderful ending. Love the song Goodbye My Love…This series captured the essence of love. I dont even like cats but it reminded me of my godfather. He adored cats. He took in stray cats. His wife and I tried our best to keep them from coming in the house. Of course my godfather had his favorite and she was always in his lap or perched on the tv blocking my view. As much as I hate to admit it I enjoyed the whole cat backdrop to the developing love story. The cast was outstanding. My favorite guys. Khao and First never disappoint! JJ always adds that extra touch. Seeing Great made my heart flutter. I just cant believe this is the last time I will see Winny and Satang together again. But when I think of Krist and Singto I know anything is possible. This goes on my rewatch list for sure.
Tee and Por are another prime example of how important it is to cast the right actors in a role. They have such great chemistry. I am really impressed. They just fit their roles so perfectly. I also love how the storyline is being acted out and the way the topic of sexual preferences is handled. It is done in such a respectful manner. I am bracing myself for the next two episodes which will feature the third party. We can expect a glitch or two in their relationship but I am banking on Qin having to prove to everyone including Duang that Duang has his heart and his body.
I am enjoying watching this but I find the female couple tedious and needless. I skip their parts. They have the chemistry of two dead fish. Watching Veir and Kelvin jousting back and forth keeps me coming back for more.
I am loving this. I cant wait to see how the scammers manage to redeem themselves. This is really putting a new twist to the redemption arc and I am enjoying it even though I know my Pai is going to go through a bad period. I also love Ohm and Poon. They are really so good together.
