Overall nice watch! It is
2024 and times and attitudes are constantly
evolving. These were all
consenting adults. I appreciate how the various issues were addressed and resolved while still keeping the series entertaining. This will go on my rewatch list.

A true mature bl gem. I loved it from beginning to end. Kudos to the entire cast and production crew. The emotions were so real and raw. This will definitely go on my rewatch list.

Wow! This was so good! The intensity, the emotion, the extent to which each one was willing to go for the other was grade A. I loved Le. That hug at the end was it for me…there is no turning back for Wei Quian. My only complaint is the episodes are too short…I want more.

Title We Are Spoiler
After hearing the news recently about an American boy who died because his friends let him go home while intoxicated…
You are right but when you are young you have the notion you are infallible. When I think about the times I was in college and no one gave a second thought about that frat brother who left the party high as a kite….it makes me shudder. Thank God no one ever ended up hurt or dead. Now I caution my grandchildren and hope they get the message.

I have rewatched this for the third time and my favorite part is the segment when the four of them are performing together and the last few minutes when they seem to be so comfortable with their true selves and with each other.

Sang Pang is such a hypocrite... making all this fuss about these two men being together but you are with this…
She is not a little girl. She is a grown woman. Personally I always preferred partners who were no more than two or three years older than myself. But my brother-in-law remarried and his wife must have been about 20 when they married. He was 45.That was years ago. She is 45 now and he is 70. You should see him on the dance floor. Again, they are both adults.

lol at people calling Lili San Pang's "sister" or whatever like Qian and Yuan aren't in the exact same position…
I agree. It happens in the real world and no one bats an eye. The famous singer Celine Dion was a young girl when your much older manager took her under his wing. Years later when she was considered an adult they fell in love and eventually married. San Pang has been a loyal friend. He has been there for all three and they trust him and probably know his good and bad traits. Frankly I would feel better with him than if she suddenly popped up with some one out of the blue.

My top five in 2024 to rewatch are:
Last Twilight 8.5 12 eps
Moonlight Chicken 8.3 8 eps
Semantic Error 8.2 8 eps
Eighth Sense 8.1 10 eps and now
Jazz for Two 8.3 8 eps
I personally like a well written tight script that focuses on the main couple. In Jazz for Two the second couple was intriguing but I didnt need more angst. It is enough for me that they reconciled and seem to be moving forward together. Maybe a series with the two will follow like what was done with the second couples from Until We Meet Again and Unintentional Love. I also feel I know enough about the father to know the younger son ends up pursuing his passion and he has always seemed comfortable with his sexuality. That said I have already rewatched Jazz for Two in its entirety and found it just as entertaining as the first time around.

I have no idea what yall are on about, but this was amazing!!!Not being able to handle and understand internalized…
Well said. It is especially hard during the teenage years when you are undergoing both biological and emotional changes . This is a hard time for heterosexuals. Imagine how it must be for someone grappling with his/her sexual identity. I remember liking to play make believe when I was young. For many bls are a
form of make believe. It is what many wish the real world was like. But this series is not about make believe. It is about the real struggles and inner torment
experienced by the
majority. Think about those teenage years. You want to be accepted. You want to be liked. So you put on a persona opposite of what you feel. As a male you must have an air of supreme
masculinity as dictated by society. Your mannerisms, your dress, your entire
demeanor must
reflect this strong, tough facade. Heaven forbid if
someone calls you gay. In fact I still
remember if a male or female dared to even speak in a certain way or use too many hand movements someone would say the words “ you so gay”. Those were fighting words. So where some viewers see
bullying I see a
protective mechanism being implored. To me this was also so
entertaining because there are
so many light and
humorous moments to balance the more
intense moments.
Personally I hope we get more bls reflecting the real world without being totally depressing and
painfully tragic. Kudos to the entire cast and production team .

Hello. Maybe the person your former teenage student liked was a victim of internalized homophobia and was hiding…
I have often wondered myself if this was the case. Like the second couple in the series they got along fine in the beginning. So much so that the student felt comfortable enough to confess his true feelings. That is when things took a horrific turn. It was years ago and I dont even know if the term internalized homophobia was even
acknowledged. Even the administrators and faculty felt the gay student was some sort of aberration.
I noticed that the only friends he had were a group of female students. They became his allies and his protector. I find some
solace in knowing he felt my
classroom was a safe haven and he felt comfortable talking to me but we were the adults and we should have done more to protect him.

For me this is now on my list of favorites for 2024. That scene with the four performing together was awesome. Weaving the jazz throughout was icing on the cake. This was so realistic. I got my happy ending. This definitely goes on my rewatch list. The ending signals hope and encouragement for a community that is still fighting to be fully accepted. Somewhere out there in the real universe is my young relative and my former teenage student. One was rejected by society and our family. The other suffered humiliation and daily ridicule by his crush and fellow classmates. They both fled into the shadows. I pray each has somehow, somewhere found their own happy ending. Take care everyone. Now its on to watching the last episodes of Unknown.

Finally saw ep 7 and it was so breathtaking…my heart is pounding…the music, the artistry, the subtle but
clear expressions of love
despite the physical distance is handled with such care. My only regret is I have to wait another week. I hope the ratings go up. This is a gem.

this drama is sooo cute so far 😭 some of y’all in the comments are hating on the littlest things, it’s…
While the second couple is intriguing it is the main couple that has my attention. Physical and verbal abuse for whatever reason is just not romantic to me. That said I do recognize the inner turmoil and conflicting emotions that are being depicted. One has accepted and acknowledged his sexuality while the other one is obviously resisting the feelings he too is experiencing. But the slight glances, the inadvertent touches and innuendos between the mls….now that is a real turn on for me..lol. All four are doing an amazing job in depicting their respective characters in my opinion.

Wow! I absolutely loved episodes 5/6 and their jazz performances. It reminded me of my youth when my mom encouraged a trio of my friends to form a jazz group. They would practice at our house. (I had a piano) Of course I expected the father to be an absolute asshole. So glad he stood up to the ogre. This just gets better and better. Now I am only sorry it is just eight episodes. All the elements of that first love and discovering your truth and
sexual identity. This is actual depicted in such a beautiful way.
