This is off topic a tad bit but The Boyfriend starts on July 9 and all I can say is where do they find these gorgeous guys. I like that the guys live together a month and the ages and occupations are already revealed. The trailer looks intriguing. Sorry, I have to do something while waiting for my guys on HisMan3. Lol…I even go back and look at clips of Sung Ho and Jun Seong on His Man 2 and I follow them on Youtube. Lol.
I came here to comment on this episode but it looks like the entire world beat me to it! 😉That assistant character…
Thank you for saying what I have said all along…the female assistant is so damn annoying. Why do writers still insist on incorporating these hairbrain female characters. I look at it as lazy writing that adds nothing to the storyline.
this kind of mindset is the reason why people are afraid to admit they are victims of harassment"taem's situation…
Having been in this situation when it is happening to you throw out the playbook. You are responding purely from a survival mode and that is not going to make alot of sense to some. In my situation the last person I wanted to call were my parents . Fortunately a close male friend came to the rescue so I do understand . No need to try to second guess how a person reacts. The incident with myself was reported and my worse questions came from my female senior advisors. Didn’t you think it strange? Why were you there in the forst place? My response was hindsight is always good…you werent there…I was the victim so dont try to insinuate that I was in any way to blame. Bottom line no means no and that includes body language as well as verbal responses. I empathize with any person, male or female who has been a victim of physical abuse. It is a very traumatic experience. A sorority sister was with me and she ended up dropping out of school. I refused to let what we had gone through cause me to give up. Again there is no playbook. How one responds is an individual thing. She did what she had to do to heal emotiinally and physically.
Very impressed. Seems to have a proper plot, good production values, direction, and the surrounding charectors…
Yes, it might not be for anyone looking who just prefers fluff . This is more gritty and the sexual tones may not be everyone’s cup of tea….but I think ii makes this series even more intriguing. And who doesnt like looking at well developed bodies. Lol. As for Meen and Ping. I am totally biased. I love them.
Some people has commented this already, I am watching this series not for the potential couples but for the individuals.…
Yes JS/SH set the bar so high. They are the exception to the rule when it comes to reality shows. It is another form of entertainment. I like this franchise because it has stayed away from the toxicity and negativity of most reality shows. Look at the show focused on love after 50. The end couple even got married. Less than six months later they are divorced. I continue to watch this because so far its has maintained a level of genuine civility and respect. The individuals are all interesting. Season 1 was more emotional and exposed alot of the trauma faced by the gay community in Asian culture. Season 2 was more romantic and definitely kept our hearts fluttering. Season 3 is nice but I hope they finally resolve the issue/non issue of the exes and get on to the flirting/ romance parts.
The production team obviously knew they were creating drama by focusing on the age difference. Having everyone around the same age would be boring to me and no guarantee for a love match. I remember when I was 20 a relative wanted to introduce me to her friend who was interested in me. He was 30. I said no thanks. More than four years older was a deal breaker for me. However another cousin was 22 and her lovemate was 42. They were together over 30 years. She died first. He is still kicking it! It is just a matter of personal preference . There is still time. It takes alot to put yourself out there knowing you may face rejection. Lol…but who has not been rejected or vice versa. You will live to see another day. Just felt like adding my two cents. Take care. See you next week.
All I can say is they are all soooo cute! I just want to give each one a big hug. Realistically if we get one couple I will be happy. I really just hope they all end as friends and on a positive note like the group in Season 2.
HisMan is the first (dating) show of this kind I watch, I loved the previous season (S2), the first one was "A…
This is really the only dating show I watch. Seasons 1 & 2 were awesome. I still follow the couple from Season 2 on Youtube. I am so excited for this season.
I feel like I will have a Pavlovian response to Geminii's Blame GameEvery time I hear this song, I know it's about…
Thank you. I actually find the girls story as a waste of time. The second couples are usually icing on the cake like Jazz for Two, Unintentional Love and Laws of Attraction. Lol..this is a miss for me. I would rather spend that time watching FortPeat make out.
I dont like reality shows like this but His Man is on a different level and I have watched the first two and now am watching the third. I already feel so sorry for Seungjin. I am also an introvert so I know how hard it is to put yourself out there. I do like that people are not wasting any time making their likes known. Hwi and Seongmin are too cute! Awkward! Get out the tissue folks. We still have two more to join .
Wow! This last episode was a roller coaster of emotional angst and sorrow. I still dont like Ming. I really dont see how he can redeem himself but love is fickle and as hard as Joe tries I just see him falling for Ming all over again!
After five years I am still blown away by the emotional depth of this series. The three couples were all awesome. When I rewatch I am reminded just how talented this cast is. They continue to remain among my favorite actors.
I have rewatched this for the fourth time and the scene that always hits me hardest is when Gaipa reveals that his mother has died. I was my mother’s only child and she too was a widow. My reaction was the same as Gaipa. Watching everyone rally around him during the worst time of his life is one of the many strengths of this series. True, it is a bl but the issues presented are so realistic and transcend sexual orientation. This is a stellar cast. The entire production was top notch.
Personally I am loving Fort and Peat. I never get tired of them but I am already tired of the two girls. They are just silly and boring. Someone needs to watch Laws of Attraction to learn how to interject girl love into the storyline. Even Deep Night did it better! Such a waste! But for FortPeat I will just skip the girl parts. Lol
This just keeps getting better and better! Just one crazy twist after another…I cant wait until next week! The script is tightly written and the acting is off the chain. At this point I just hope it doesnt end with a cliffhanger!
This bl is on another level. There are so many layers that are uncovered and we see how it only takes one person who extends a hand that can give a person hope and change a life for the better. I cant believe we are coming to the end.
