Wow! This last episode was a roller coaster of emotional angst and sorrow. I still dont like Ming. I really dont see how he can redeem himself but love is fickle and as hard as Joe tries I just see him falling for Ming all over again!
After five years I am still blown away by the emotional depth of this series. The three couples were all awesome. When I rewatch I am reminded just how talented this cast is. They continue to remain among my favorite actors.
I have rewatched this for the fourth time and the scene that always hits me hardest is when Gaipa reveals that his mother has died. I was my mother’s only child and she too was a widow. My reaction was the same as Gaipa. Watching everyone rally around him during the worst time of his life is one of the many strengths of this series. True, it is a bl but the issues presented are so realistic and transcend sexual orientation. This is a stellar cast. The entire production was top notch.
Personally I am loving Fort and Peat. I never get tired of them but I am already tired of the two girls. They are just silly and boring. Someone needs to watch Laws of Attraction to learn how to interject girl love into the storyline. Even Deep Night did it better! Such a waste! But for FortPeat I will just skip the girl parts. Lol
This just keeps getting better and better! Just one crazy twist after another…I cant wait until next week! The script is tightly written and the acting is off the chain. At this point I just hope it doesnt end with a cliffhanger!
This bl is on another level. There are so many layers that are uncovered and we see how it only takes one person who extends a hand that can give a person hope and change a life for the better. I cant believe we are coming to the end.
I just started watching and this is so good. Imagine a gangster dying and going back as a bullied teen and turning the tables on his worst opponent. I love it!
I just love the simplicity and fuzzy warm feeling that I get from watching Japanese bls. They do follow a certain formula but I have come to expect and enjoy knowing despite the miscues and missteps along the way in the end love wins.
I just put the ost Sudden Shower on my playlist. It is such a beautiful song…but I still cant bring myself to watch this series…from the comments there seem to be so many heartbreaking scenes. I just cant take sad right now. Hopefully it will have a happy ending.
I hate open endings. Feels like somebody pulled out of the project for whatever reason or the budget was really low. We had three main leads shown in the credits but only two in the final interview. Well, that’s a wrap. At least you can binge watch this in one sitting.
This is so adorable. I know it is not everyones cup of tea but the awkwardness and hesitancy of all three reminds me of how falling in love for the first time feels.
Loving this…japanese bls have a very unique way of slowly letting the characters evolve into something so caring and beautiful. Feelings are explored and never rushed. I compare it to the life cycle of a butterfly. It takes awhile for it to break out of its cocoon….but in the end it was worth the wait. Watching Tanaka and Natsukawa going through their personal metamorphosis is so touching and lovely to me.
I am rewatching this for the third time as I anxiously await KristSingto new series. So good to see New and others in this series who are still hanging in there after eight years! I still get so tickled watching Kong flirt with Arthit.
I am hating this! It is just too too realistic! Kudos to the actors and writing team! There are really people like Ming and Tong in the world. Unfortunately there are people like Joe in the world too….doormats who allow themselves to be stomped and trampled on. I hope Joe grows some balls soon. Sol is the only sane one so far but it wont matter. Ming and Tong are both trash in my book. The sister and Joe are collateral damage. Ever hate the characters and storyline but have to acknowledge you cant stop watching. This is it for me. Lol

I just stumbled on this and I am so glad. Having lost my husband in 2018 this entire storyline is so intriguing and they made it so realistic. I was twelve years old before I found out that the father I adored was not my biological father. He was the one that was there from the beginning. He was the one that walked me down the aisle. I met my biological father. He was a nice man. We became friends. But my dad was the one who wiped my tears and took me on road trips. Love it! It has just the right balance of humor and pathos. The cast is awesome. Of course Rain never disappoints.
I am giddy as a teenage girl. Forgive me. I am so loving this. LuChen reminds me so much of my late husband. He was Military Police and was just as decisive and determined as LuChen. My parents didnt like him at first but he won them over eventually. Like LuChen he was at home in the kitchen and could clean better than me. He taught me how to drive. His reaction was the same as LuChen when I told him we were having our first child. We went on to have a total of three. Being military duty and following procedures was paramount. But he was so kind and compassionate toward others. His fellow officers respected him so much. At his funeral his childhood friend spoke of how much he was loved. So forgive me if I consider this a gem. I am sure someone else watching has their own LuChen. Take care.
intriguing and entertaining from start to finish! Definitely will go on my rewatch list!
