I just enjoy Meen and Ping together. Overall I enjoyed watching. Seeing the contrast between the grandmother and the mom was one of the highlights for me and I was happy to know Que was ok and would always be there if needed. Loved the guys on the team and how they evolved as friends.
What a perfectly wonderful series….so many positive messages about redemption, loyalty and second chances. And it was accomplished within the framework of comedy and love. I loved the ending. They truly exemplified the true meaning of family. I will miss them all. This goes on my rewatch list.
The sad thing is Tae Ha is representative of so many who are still in the closet. As much as we would like to believe that things have changed for many it hasnt. The fiancee called the best friend because she too is in denial. She already has suspicions. Her talking excessively about the honeymoon and their wanting a baby right away was all I needed to hear. She has to lock him down so he is consumed with remorse and guilt and so can never leave. This is really short so we will get to the conclusion quickly but if you want to see this same storyline handled in a really heartfelt and touching manner I recommend Life: Love On the Line and His. I wish the budget would have allowed for at least 8 episodes. Where I am from it’s called living on the down low. It is a sad situation for all parties included, even the delusional female who feels she has achieved a victory and has won.
Ok only one episode and this makes KinnPorsch look tame in comparison….and we havent even seen Bible in action. This is going to literally be quite a rollercoaster ride. Buckle up and get ready. I can tell everybody has some serious issues. Fridays are going to be fun!
Just saw ep 4 and now it is going to get messy which means its going to be fun watching how our first couple end up together by the end….ex gf and being deceived by new bf is not a new storyline but how it is handled is what will make it entertaining. Love the second couple. They are too cute. Love that it is eight episodes. So ep 5 will be about exgf…ep 6 will add the deception…ep 7 things will come to a climax and the second couple may be the focus and ep 8 problems will be resolved and we will get our happy ending with both our couples….at least that is what I am hoping for🥰
Wow! I didnt think any ending could top Season 2 of His Man but The Boyfriend certainly gave me chills and thrills. The camaraderie among the group seemed so real. This was a capsule view of life and love….sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but having friends to lean on during both the highs and the lows is so important! As much as I love Dai/Shun and Alan/Ryota I really pray for Tacheon. He didnt find romantic love but I feel he found the love and support he needed to be able to face his parents with his truth. I can only imagine how hard this must be but watching these guys rally around him was so inspiring. I really hope there is a follow up special to update us on the entire group. This was really an amazing group. You can’t orchestrate true feelings in reality. In defense of Shun I totally get him. When you have been hurt and misled you build up a defense mechanism to protect yourself. I know from personal experience. Watching Dai made me think of my late husband. I was a piece of work. I put that man through so many hoops but he hung in there and we weathered so many storms together. I hope our two couples can do the same. I hope each one is on the path to true love. You make a strong argument for much needed changes. Watching the last episode was indeed painful. There is no entertainment in watching these beautiful souls crying and in such despair. I was literally in tears myself. They deserved better. I hope that each one has healed emotionally especially Hwi and Seung Jin.
I love it! This is absolutely the best ! I love a badass mother bear who is willing to do whatever she needs to do to protect her cubs! All of the actors brought their A game…..I cant wait to see the Queen dowager and the Chief Councilor and his daughter get their just rewards.
I cant believe we are coming to an end. This is by far the best reality show I have ever watched. The level of respect and empathy shown by these guys for each has been just so encouraging and really refreshing to watch. I am blown away by the way each one has handled what has to be very difficult….liking someone and the feelings not being reciprocated. I wish I could just give each one a big hug . I really hope we get a reunion episode and a Season 2. I even applaud the commentators. Their reactions and comments were fun to watch.
I honestly understand Shun. A lot of people are saying that Shun cannot make up his mind and he is immature, but…
I agree with you. I am an introvert so i can identify with Shun. I was very suspicious of potential boyfriends who seemed to always be up on you! I think that’s why my soulmate and I were such a great match. He was an extrovert but from the very start he gave me my space. I think Dai is becoming aware of this and will make the needed adjustments. Even now I still dont like people who come on too strong. I recently made a new friend and I enjoy her company but suddenly she was calling me every day. It was becoming too much and I was thinking of ending our friendship. Luckily she started backing off and I could breathe. So I get Shun and am rooting for he and Dai.

Reality or not I do have to remind myself this is tv and meant to be entertainment. It is not a documentary.lol. At the end of the day the filming stopped and everyone returned to their real real lives. Just being on the show may have increased their market value and provided other opportunities. Now that’s reality!
I do understand. Season 2 really spoiled me. That entire cast was just the best. It reminded me of when you suddenly meet a group of people and despite your differences you just click. Editing or not some things you just cannot hide. I am hanging in there for my three favorites , Hwi, Seungjin and KimYoHo. Also, to support the overall concept. From what I have read this is a big step for South Korea in recognizing the gay community.
There are 10 episodes in all. Apparently eps 1-7 provide the framework and set us up for the second part, eps 8-10 which give us a glimpse of the future and sets us up fir Season 2. If you goggle the title plus parts 1&2 you may get a better perspective. I cant wait for Seaon 2!
