Well I just finished the last episode and for me it was a fun ride. I got what I wanted at the end and all is well in my world of make believe. This will go on my rewatch list. Take care.
Episode 3 was on fire! I didnt see that coming! Looks like we have our second couple! So much angst and internal turmoil….growing up is so damn hard….its only when you grow old that you can sigh and appreciate the journey. Loving the entire cast so far. Han Tae Yi reminds me of the ml in The Eighth Sense. He has the same low key intensity caused by a personal trauma.
I just have three words…I love it! I am hooked! So many unanswered questions surrounding the characters and the underlying issues driving their behaviors. Korean bls are so good when it comes to character development.
The drama was made by Koreans for Koreans. In Korea, to keep face is very important. Also, being homosexual is…
Thank you. You bring up some valid points. Perhaps the powers that be need to have more focus groups and consultants like yourself. The end game is to make money which is why we even see international products being inserted in strategic places. Kdramas are big with International audiences and they know it so to cut back on fully developing the characters and the storyline is just unforgettable. I even read an article which pointed out why some storylines cannot even be suggested in some countries because of the cultural differences. Those projects make no money because the main point of the story gets lost in the translation. Probably the budget did not allow for more than 12 episodes . As it stands there were a lot of holes in the plotline that I think could have been written better. I am pretty good at reading between the lines but this just seems like sloppy writing and careless editing. Again, thank you .
This might be stupid but would it even have mattered if Dohan and Ahjeong got married at the point where everyone…
The problem is you are looking at this from a rational and intelligent perspective. All three of the main characters are so disconnected from reality. It is hard to believe that they actually are suppose to be mature, educated, intelligent adults. Shame on the writers for underestimating the intelligence of their audience.
Time to fall on my sword and put myself out of my misery. Two more episodes where there will be a rush to tie up all loose ends and have the older brother return to NY where he should have stayed in the first place or get married to the rich female heir who is the most practical of the four. Of course the ml and fl will ride their bicycle merrily down the road in wedding dress and tuxedo. Afterall who needs money and who gives a hoot about what people will say and how it will affect your family. The only thing that matters is love. I have watched this storyline before but it has been done so much more convincingly. I will just wait for the spoilers next week. This really was a comedy. Someone is laughing all the way to the bank.
Wait... what?? Am I the only one who can't seem to follow this drama? They are making something as telling the…
Thank you…I feel the same way. I have no sympathy for Do Wan or Ah Jung. Her rationale has been off from the start. To me she is the perfect example of an enabler. I actually prefer Chae Won. She seems more level headed and assertive. Of course Ah Jung will get Ji Han in the end. I have to remind myself this is really promoted as a romantic comedy and not LGTBQ.
Omds the hate on the female lead is crazy u need to chill out icl did she hurt u or smthng this is just a drama…
So do sorry I rubbed you the wrong way. This is just my own personal opinion. It is not the actress fault. Obviously this is how the powers that be wanted the role to be portrayed. The fact that she is a female does not exclude her from criticism. Everyone stand down. Apparently the fl has alot of fans. I just happen to not be one. Take care.
Talk about throwing your brother under the bus. Theses are the most selfish self centered two people. Are we really suppose to believe love makes you blind to the feelings of others. And once again I wish I could get a stranglehold on the fl’s stylish. She looks so dowdy most of the time. I guess we were to find this episode romantic. She even gulps down her food like a pig…He is so hot and she just looks sooo plain. Lord have mercy. That purple dress looked awful on her. Lol…Things are about to get really interesting….
Episode 6 was a perfect 10 for me…so real and so raw…the feelings between the two “brothers” was so intense. The friend was right…there really was only one actual solution….neither one is ready at this point to deal with their feelings for each other let alone the pressures from the outside world. We all would like to believe that the world has become so receptive and accepting of same sex relationships but is that really really true. Even in the world I live in we put on a very convincing face but looking at many of our institutions, especially in religious based societies the scorn and stigma is still there. I want each one to take the time to grow stronger and to find inner strength and the resolve they will need to live their own truth despite the odds. I look forward to the next half with great anticipation for a happy ending with the two together.
I am liking this so far. The storyline is intriguing and enough to make me want to keep watching. I admit I am a big fan of Max, Nat and Gun. I have only seen the first two episodes and I am hooked. Nat and Gun are so adorable .
