I am really loving this series. Tay and New never let me down. I love their portrayals. I am also enjoying Min and Jinta. They are adorable. Rock and Pai provide that extra touch. This episode dealt with some serious workplace issues. It should not have even got to that point but the boss finally did the right thing. Just for the record I worked in the corporate world and the scenario presented is not just fiction. Cant wait until next week.
All I can say is where can I sign up …I need a robot like this one. He is so cute. Nice start! I like it! The professor and the robot are so different but still seem to go well together.
Myung Ha went into a depression after his grandmother died and his girlfriend broke up with him. After all this…
Excellent analysis…This is why I was so glad I waited and bingewatched the entire series. They did an awesome job in depicting the effects of depression without it being dark and depressing. Kudos to the entire team. This goes on my rewatch list.
Just had to throw this out there….the Korean bl Love for Love’s Sake has an 8.9. As much as we love Last Twilight and GMMTV there are others who are entering the bl game and raising the bar. I love it!
This is what I love about Bls from Korea. They are always going beyond the norm and raising the bar. They are not afraid to step outside of the box. I am so glad I waited and bingewatched this in one afternoon. From watching Last Twilight to this. Love bls that challenge the imagination.
I am really loving this so far. I grew up in an environment where depression was largely and rarely acknowledged. I watched my grandmother and mother suffer with it. You were just suppose to suck it in and keep going. I too worked in a very competitive environment. I found it amusing that twenty years later one of my tormenters reached out to me as if we had been bosom buddies. I blocked her. When I suffered depression I sought professional help. I did not feel guilty. Your mental and emotional health are just in important as your physical health. This kind of reminds me of Its Okay ton Not Be Okay. I like the main couple and how they are being developed.
Now if they would just release the English version of Last Twilight on ITunes my life will be complete…I downloaded the Thai versions even though I dont understand the words but the melodies are so beautiful and envisioning Day and Mhok in my mind has been enough.🥰🥰🥰
I just cant believe what I just read…someone really hoped that either the mother or the father would have died and that their eyes would have been used to give back Day’s eyesight. I lost both my parents and the pain is still unbearable. Having to gain his eyesight at the expense of losing a parent might have restored Day’s physical sight but what about the psychological trauma. I am so glad no one else had to die. The suicide of Mhok ‘s sister caused enough trauma. If it is death and angst that people desire head over to the bl Dead Friend Forever. I am watching that primarily because I love Us, Ta and Barcode from KinnPorsche. It is interesting but be forewarned….it is not for the weak. Lol
I don't think it has fully hit me yet that the series over because I just sat on my couch and had a brief moment…
I think that is why I have already watched the entire series twice and am getting ready to watch it again. It is also so refreshing to see female characters in a bl who are not manipulative, vindictive, whiny and needy. The four main females featured were all articulate, confident, and strong. On top of that they were all beautiful….the mother, Phojai, Gee, Pla.
I just cant say goodbye to this series. I even went back and rewatched the special segment Before Last Twilight. It is really interesting watching and listening to how the whole process from casting to shooting is structured. I find the behind the scenes clips fun and informative. As Sea was talking about his character Day and the challenge of portraying someone blind I remembered that last year a friend and I took a trip last year and while there we attended church services at one of our sister churches. The pastor’s wife is blind. I have watched her since we were all very young. They have been married almost fifty years and have adult children. Their grandchildren were visiting which is why she declined our dinner invitation. Everything she does is so natural to me I had put her out of my mind. I would always see her at our conventions. When her husband was not by her side she was always assisted by her children or a female member from her church. I always admired how pretty she always looked and how stylish she dressed. Again this series is so realistic in its portrayal of persons with visual problems. I just love it. I am satisfied with a 8.6. I hope it doesnt go down.
Still holding at 8.6…Looking for another great bl but totally different head over to The Sign. I personally love having different options and seeing bls evolve from the cookie cutter school based scenarios to adult settings. Another good one to watch is Cherry Magic with TayNew.
The more and more I rewatch this this and actually think about it I realize it is not just a story about a blind person. That is the hook but that is not the essence of this series in my own eyes. In the beginning we actually are presented with a series of characters who are all blind in some way. I am not denigrating Day’s situation at all or that of those who are physically blind. Without my glasses I am legally blind. I stepped out of my house one day without my glasses and wondered why it was so foggy and blurry out. In my haste I had forgot my glasses. It was scary. I have a friend who is going blind. My friend’s father was blind. So I know the personal challenges this presents. The series did an outstanding job in the character of On. Here we are shown how a person who is permanently blind can live and find love. And that love can be a sighted person. So the idea to be that the series is offensive to the those who are physically impaired is ludicrous. There is a greater message than that in my opinion. Day was not able to see but neither was Mhork or the mother or Night or Porchai at the beginning of the series. Even the father was blind. But by the end of the series they each have a clear vision of what possibilities exist and what the true meaning of life is all about. For me this series is not just about Mhork and Day even though I adore them both and I cried when they cried. But it is about the possibilities that so many of us fail to see..,the true potential that lies within each of us. I am old now. I am truly at the last twilight of my life but I still see so many possibilities . I still have hope and that is why I love this series so much. It did not wallow in the despair . It showed suicide. It showed physical violence. It showed deceit and unfaithfulness. But it put the focus on moving forward, being positive and looking toward a new and brighter day. Even the way Porchai’s child was portrayed. She had a single mom but she came into the world surrounded by love. When she called Mhork uncle I was so full of joy. She has a dad, uncles, grandma. So many positive messages in this series. If you read this in its entirety I thank you. Now its on to The Sign. Take care.
I liked the ending. I read that some people complained that Mhok's problems were not addressed and resolved, but…
Yes if you go back to the beginning you see how he evolving as a person. In the beginning he has no clear direction, no real focus. He is essentially just as blind as Day. But by the end even his outward appearance has changed. He walks and acts with more confidence. He can finally see his true potential. So the message is so clear and positive and it is repeated throughout the series. There is an old song I used to listen to . One of the lines was you dont have to stay in the state that you are in. This was true for not only Mhork and Day but for the mother, the father, Porchai, Night and even August.
As I’m a type 2 diabetic, I really shouldn’t have watched episode 12 at all. I haven’t been surrounded by…
Someone with a real sense of humor….I can actually imagine somewhere in the back of a dusty pile of manuscripts is what you just imagined…..believe me I have seen and read worst… have a great day!
