I knew from the start who would have to bring Daddy down. Way ‘s death reminds me of Big in KinnPorsche. Unrequited love. I am missing my boys already. The song at the graveside is so beautiful. Love this cast. They exceeded my expectations. I want more. This cant be over.
I am on episode 8 and still enjoying it but I hope the divorced wife will come to her senses soon and stop using the children to get back at the father. In my family we have had divorces and separations but we never used the children to get revenge. The problem was between these adults. The children suffered enough so both parents did everything possible to let the children know they were loved by both parents. The new wife would not have been left at home. Was this easy? No but for the sake of the children we put aside our differences. I know that may always be possible but for my family it worked. Also when one of the parents died we prayed for that mother/father that was left to find a loving partner. When my cousin died his young wife was left with three children under 8 yrs old. We were so happy when four years later she found love again. She and her new husband went on to have three children together. We made no difference. They are all a part of our family. Just had to put my two cents in. I know the divorced mother was wronged but she needs to grow up…and stop yelling when things dont go her way.
It seems like I am in the minority when I say I see nothing earth shattering about this series. The bl storyline seems to be the bait to pull in viewers. Women using sex toys….sex parties…mid life crisis… friends with benefits…this all seems so 1960s….I look at this and I think been there did that…and we did it better. Maybe it has to do with cultural differences…what really was offensive was the thought that if a woman didnt gjve a man a baby he would not consider her a woman and would leave her…this is the second kdrama I have watched this week where the mothers were hung up on their married daughters getting pregnant. I consider their behavior a form of emotional abuse. I kept checking my calendar to be sure this was the 21st century. I do find the cast impressive and the gay/thug/ gangster storyline is intriguing. There is enough going on to keep me watching. I give it a solid 8.0 at this point. I grew up around gamblers so those scenes are done very well. That is why I dont gamble…lol.
If you want to take a look at what it is like to live as a gay couple where one is sighted and the other one only has 10% vision and is facing permanent blindness I invite you to go to YouTube and check out Matthew and Paul 2. They are a joy to watch. Watching them makes me appreciate Last Twilight even more.
Are there any happy moments in this bl? I started watching but the mood changed to such a dark place I stopped. I am happy to see my guys from KinnPorsche and the ratings are decent. I will always support my guys which is why I kept my initial rating the same(8.5). From the comments there is a lot of intrigue which reminds me of Manner of Death. I am just more into themes that are more hopeful and optimistic like Cherry Magic and Cooking Crush. Even The Sign and Love for the Sake of Love had some light moments.
I just started watching this and I am loving it. I am loving the mother with the 30 year old unemployed son and when the grandmother started beating her former son in law I was howling . My heart goes out to the divorced mother and the widower. I know it will be awhile but I cant wait until they get together.
I am really loving this series. Tay and New never let me down. I love their portrayals. I am also enjoying Min and Jinta. They are adorable. Rock and Pai provide that extra touch. This episode dealt with some serious workplace issues. It should not have even got to that point but the boss finally did the right thing. Just for the record I worked in the corporate world and the scenario presented is not just fiction. Cant wait until next week.
All I can say is where can I sign up …I need a robot like this one. He is so cute. Nice start! I like it! The professor and the robot are so different but still seem to go well together.
Myung Ha went into a depression after his grandmother died and his girlfriend broke up with him. After all this…
Excellent analysis…This is why I was so glad I waited and bingewatched the entire series. They did an awesome job in depicting the effects of depression without it being dark and depressing. Kudos to the entire team. This goes on my rewatch list.
Just had to throw this out there….the Korean bl Love for Love’s Sake has an 8.9. As much as we love Last Twilight and GMMTV there are others who are entering the bl game and raising the bar. I love it!
I want more. This cant be over.
