I am literally crying tears of joy. I lost my darling husband 5 years ago. Like the father I look at our picture album and think of all we shared together…the pain is real but it is the love that sustains you. The Japanese are masters at storytelling. This is a bl but the message is universal. This definitely goes on my rewatch list.
I loved every episode. Time for me to go back and binge watch each series. Of course for me Earth and Mix are the very best. But I really look forward to seeing all our couples again….together or not they are all awesome.
I am so invested in Lee Dong and Kim Bum that even the crazy inclusion of zombies is not enough to deter me from watching. They are just so great in whatever role they play. You never know what they will throw in next which makes it all the more entertaining.
I really loved this episode 7…it is a slow burn but true love is like that at times. At least that’s how I remember it! It had some really cute scenes. Like how the couples are walking on eggshells around each other. It sets up the coming scenes and we feel the pain of denial and rejection. If you have not been there lucky you!

I hate to say this but every time there is a main female character in a bl they turn out to be looney psychos. Take the female characters out and the series takes on a whole new dimension. I am not saying there should not be main female characters but at least give them a brain and a sense of self worth. The two examples I can think of where the female characters were portrayed as intelligent, strong females are Semantic Error and To Sir With Love. I am sure there must be others.
I just rewatched and i still love it…especially loved the end where all the couples were together on the beach. Boun Prem and Ohm Fluke still my favorites.
I really thought Rung was the one that was going to turn out to be pregnant. Win would go to jail and get out…
No, they show where he met with her and forgave her and told her she would always be like a sister to him. Then several years later Win is out of jail and they are all sitting at the dinner table when Rung shows up. Korn invites her to join. Win and the rest of the family welcome her. She sits down, sheds a few tears and they all are just one big happy family. The end. Please God let this truly be the end. No season 2 please.
The part where Li had a kid with Ah was predictable for me. Somehow, seeing Ah die in the arms of Li made me think…
I really thought Rung was the one that was going to turn out to be pregnant. Win would go to jail and get out only to find Korn and Rung are together raising his child as their own. So glad they did not follow that storyline but I bet they thought about it. Lol
Korn was too good for these people...also with all the time jumps, the parents are basically vampires because…
What was so good about Korn. He was treated poorly by his father so he turns to a drug dealer and gets involved in doing things that is illegal. Korn is no saint. Also, he could have been upfront with Win and with Rung. All three made stupid choices for stupid reasons. They each paid a price. As I use to tell my kids….own the mess you did…then move on and learn from it…do better. Every one had to share the blame, two gave their lives for their mistakes. That is the chance you take when you choose a certain lifestyle. Some make it out and end up ok…,but most dont.
I finally looked at the finally episode and I see how they pulled off a happy ending. However, it seems too much of a stretch to believe that after all the havoc Rung caused and the person she had sex with turns out to have been involved in her parents deaths now you will all sit down at the table and have a kumbaya moment. Lol…anything is possible in fiction. I still love the entire cast but Perth and Ohm are my forever stars. I believe they have proven they can play in any genre. They are outstanding actors….period. I look forward to seeing them for many years to come. I know Perth and Chinon have a bl coming out soon. I cant wait!
I read some comments and it seems like Korn is suddenly a hero, Win is the devil and poor poor Rung. Truth is there are no winners in my opinion. Yes the father was despicable ….yes, Korn got treated poorly, yes, Rung’s parents were killed, Yes Win fell in love with someone who didnt love him back….but is any of it any justification for the decisions each one made. No! You reap what you sow! There should not be a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow for any of them….maybe in their next life. Life does not work this way…i was taught you do the crime you do the time. They should all be in jail. This was a very depressing and sad series in my opinion. Great acting!
I am staying with this so far for one reason….GUN. I actually like both couples but who in the hell would take orders from anyone in a coffee shop….the hostess or whatever she is is so scary….she needs a Valium ! And why does it seem like here we go with another mom relying on the son for money. Is this actually the norm in Asia? I do like the length of each episode. Six episodes of this will be more than enough.
I personally have no problem with the age difference. I personally know of couples where there was a large age gap. In fact after my sister passed away her husband later married a young woman who is at least twenty years younger. I recently saw them at a family wedding. He is 65. She is in her late thirties. They look so happy. I do think they should have kept the same actors. Makeup and a change of hairstyle, physical adaptations should have been enough. Seems like the directors did not have enough faith in the ability of their actors or the intelligence of the audience. Still, I got my happy ending so I’m good.
But I really look forward to seeing all our couples again….together or not they are all awesome.
