I love it! Maybe its because I have known people just like Pat and Jeng. Maybe it is because at times I have been Pat and at times I have been Jeng…lol…I am sure people thought wtf is she doing…but despite the ups and downs if you are meant to be together it will happen. I got my happy ending. I am also team ManBen and hope to see them together in another series. Maybe we will get a Season 2. Really I usually dont like sequels. So if this is it I am good. This will go on my rewatch list.
The drama just contain everything ...the story was nice, cast was fab..both first leads and secondly leads have…
Thai bls meed to take note…it’s not about having scenes in the shower and pointless skinship…the storyline must be plausible and the actors must know how to interpret the character properly.
I just finished watching ep 11 and actually I am okay with how it ended. Both brothers have issues that they need to resolve. Yes, the dad is a piece of work but it is what it is. This is where the growing up part comes in . Believe me it is not easy going up against your parents or society. It is gut wrenching . Also, Pat has to go or he will be forever second guessing every decision he makes. I am still rooting for both couples but if they dont end up together I hope each person comes out stronger and wiser. I am just sorry I have to wait another week before the finale but hopefully someone will spoil it for me.
I love First and Ja and I think the storyline is interesting. What I dont like is the ridiculous troupe with the agents constantly bickering. And why do they always have one of the agents dressed like a female caricature. It is only the first episode . I am still hopeful. The ost is nice.
I broke down and watched the final episode. And I could understand and actually appreciate the jest of the storyline. It reminds me of the saying Be careful what you wish for….you could very well get what you wished for but at what price. I dont fault the actors. Its like someone hires you to host a big affair . It looks good on paper but the budget is lacking, the head cook bailed and the room that was reserved was too small. So you do the best you can with what you have. Apparently there was just one main criteria… have the couple together at the end.
Is there somewhere in the bl writers manual that says you must take a perfectly happy scenario and make a perfect mess even messier! And I knew Nara was going to pop back up…this girl definitely has a great agent! At this point they can all go to you know where…so next week we get a wedding and find out how the parents figure in all this chaos. At this point they need to learn from the Korean and Japanese bls…..stay on point, keep it simple, make sense, make it entertaining…time for me to rewatch Love Tractor and Unintentional Love! Ughhhh
Actually I went back and rewatched Golden Blood. At least I was able to watch GB from start to finish. It had some fun moments and was at least entertaining. Unfortunately, each time I tried to watch this I just started cringing and I have not been able to get through an entire episode. The comments have given me enough. Now I just want to know if they just go their separate ways or if it was all just a dream. I still love Gun and wish him the best.
Just a simply, beautiful love story with great aesthetics, the beauty of the countryside and lovely music. I love that there is no inner turmoil over the mls sexual identity. Even the appearance of the bf is treated quickly and respectfully. The father is a non issue. The separation is not dragged out for years. They handled the situation together. The eventual kiss was so sweet. I loved the ending. For me it was perfect. It goes on my rewatch list.
This was just what I needed to lift my spirits. Sometimes I just want to watch something that gives me hope and makes me smile. This definitely goes on my rewatch list. Our mls are just so darn cute!
honestly i work in a company and i will turn down even the most handsome person just because i fucking hate rumors…
Thank you. I felt the same way when I worked in the corporate world. Too many nosey people. And when the relationships did not work out it was even worse….and we did not have social media. Years later when my husband and I worked for the same school district I had one rule which was when we entered the building my classroom was off limits. We did not even eat lunch together. It worked for us for the eight years we worked together. Lol. Any spoilers you have will be much appreciated.
I really liked ep 10 but I an not looking forward to ep 11 and the finale. I just dont see how you can be that much in love and just fold like that and not fight for your relationship. I have been in the corporate world. I have seen messy office relationships. Some resulted in transfers, some resulted in demotions, even resignations but where true love was involved they weathered the storm…and this was in the nineties! Now we are in 2023. It is no secret that either one is gay. They each have had other partners. So Jeng’s father has that much power of him. If they dont end up together or have an open ended finale it will be the worst ending since 180 Degree Longitude and will definitely not go on my rewatch list. Hopefully, at the very least it will be like Love, Life on the Line where it took them like ten years before they finally got back together. With that one the backlash was so great they even made a special Director’s Cut showing them together through old age and even after death reunited. I wish someone would spoil it for me and tell me if Jeng and Pat end up together in the book.

I had completely forgot about him in LW until you mentioned it. Kudos to Chot.
