I find such questions very interesting. I think their two possibilities for each;
(1)Jiang Ru Ying would have been more humble if she grew up with her bio parents. Not necessarily kinder but more tolerant.(with attributes to genetics from her mom who was weak in front of her dad). She might have been either more appreciative of her mom being caring in such an environment or hated her mom for being too weak to leave. She might be more cunning, doing evil deeds in secret or deciding to leave her toxic dad and get a better life for herself (and maybe her mom).
(2) Jiang Ru Ying would have been a gold digger or someone who hated the world if she grew up with her bio parents. She would resort to destroying others (like being a Mistress to destroy marriages) and would get great pleasure from seeing others suffer (with attributes to genetics as her dad was ruthless and didn’t care about others)
(1) Bai Xiyue growing up with her bio parents who have been a spoiled heiress deciding either to not get a job and wasting away or she does get a job but uses her identity to throw weight around
(2) Bai Xiyue growing up with her parents and still be humble and respectful (with attributes to genetics) as her parents were respectable figures with great character. She might still be a surgeon (it’s in her blood) or chosen another career. With the love and support from her father, she would still accomplish great things.

Turns out he was in Once We Get Married and To The End of the Moon!! Also, he looks like Lee Know from Stray Kids!! Synopsis: Ye Zhiqiu, an orphan living with her uncle and aunt, is given away in marriage to the village chief’s retarded son to pay her uncle’s gambling debts. Scheming her way out with 3000 from the dowry money, she runs to the nearest city. While taking a look around, she spots Song Yanli, a guy on a blind date with a proud gold digger asking for 18,888 in bride price. Stepping up to them, she offers to marry him. The man recognizes her as a girl who saved him from a scammer which made him get to his father in time to see his dad one last time before his death. Agreeing instantly, both get married. Ml lives next to a wicked mother and daughter duo who broke an engagement with ML because he refused to be a live-in Son-in-law. With a new woman in ML’s life , the mother and daughter duo try all ways possible to break them up. ML’s brother planned to embezzle company money and escape, using ML as the scapegoat. ML found out of this plan and stopped it with the help of his adoptive family and his sister (the other kid he escaped the orphanage with). Now with his brother out of the picture, he returned to his adoptive family, living a normal life with a baby on the way.

Pretty great drama. I’ve seen only few of ML’s stuff before (where he acted sad roles). This one, I recommend!

Just finished watching. I now know why even though I’ve seen him in few short cdramas, he looked so familiar. Turns out he was in Once We Get Married and To The End of the Moon!! Also, he looks like Lee Know from Stray Kids!!

Ml travels to Ancient times in a kingdom that kills time travelers. To survive he kills a Eunuch (who looks like him) and takes his position/identity. From there, he is sent to the Princess. The Head Eunuch leading him finds out he’s a time traveler, so Ml kills him to protect his cover. While in the Princess’s mansion, he is tested over and over and through some tricks survives. Embarking on the journey to find out why time travelers are killed while maintaining his life and not blowing his cover, he finds that the Female Emperor (Princess’s sister) is the President of Time Travelers Association. What he doesn’t know is that the Emperor, because of a curse, has to kill and get travelers’ blood to survive.
