Ikr! it was a drag and looked so stupid that I ended up enjoying it. The reason why I watched it was because of LYX. I gotta say he has his fair share of bad roles 😅😅🥲. It’s a Chinese version of American Show “Baby Daddy” (well sort of 🙃). The ML being too kind pissed me , but then I remembered I might have the same character (as a person). It’s been years since I watched it so I don’t remember everything . I guess I kinda have a weird taste in cdramas?
I have to say, your review is spot on!!! As for censorship, I was a little sad at its blurry scenes but later got use to it. As for Zheng Ren painted with unrealistic perfectionism, we see that it was mainly a facade and he had flaws that Su Yun helped him overcome. I too am a medical aspirant, that’s the reason why I was intrigued and had to check it out ( what made me give it a second glance apart from title was Vin Zhang being the ML ofc🤭🤭). Tho I’ve watched other medical dramas that include the Oath doctors in China take, this is the first time I really saw it implemented to my satisfaction!! The bonds b/w the character made it so heartwarming!!! Love your review!!!

I understand Y’all. And saying to drop it if you don’t understand is completely right. I dropped a couple of dramas I didn’t understand or enjoy but never rated them poorly because of that. But I also understand the person who wrote this review was trying to express themselves. Everyone has choices and preferences. I too was disappointed ☹️ about it being blurry, but I didn’t let that stop me from enjoying it. Bad things aside.. what was a hook 🪝 that made you decide to give this drama a try??

Wow. I haven’t read the novel but I am ecstatic that the director prefers bromance to romantic relationships. I think if Zheng Ren was in a relationship with Xie Yiren, I might have dropped it. The medical terminology and procedures were the bomb 💣!!!! Soo grateful to the director!!!
Fr. I am not a medical student yet, but I plan to be when I get to college. I have taken Medical Terminology class. It was so wholesome putting the pieces together and actually understanding it (not like shows I watched before where I couldn’t understand a single medical term and had to keep Safari open, going back and forth). It taught me a lot. Before, when I watched other medical shows, I was scared to consider doing something that included surgeries after high school. But after this, I am inspired to take something as challenging as surgeries or more in the medical, something people avoid doing, so I can help others and be people’s hope like Zheng Ren was in this Show. This show is so realistic on pressures of life, trauma, running a hospital and most importantly having diseases that need special treatment and not being able to find a good doctor or even afford it. Hope this inspires others as much as it did me. Thanks so much for this review!!!

The FL acted the animals well… I could actually guess what she was acting out. But when the ML said Tyrannosaurus when she acted a meerkat(I could easily recognise bcs I watched “The Lion King”), I felt like I died 🤣🤣🤣🤣… like bro wasn’t even close, what was he thinking ??
