Three theories as to who pushed him in the context of the current 2012 Kosei being the original Eito: 1. The original Eito as Eito. His first interaction with Eito's family and neighbors seem to imply that Eito was estranged from his family ( as well as the fact that his father EijiSan was adamant about not selling off their hometown, can be interpreted as him leaving the light for his son so he can find his way home ). Eito gave up his top tier job to return home and take care of his father but doesn't pay respect to his beloved mother ? Not to mention that the dry cleaner business isn't making any money and they work for free while the dad takes out loans. Also, everyone keeps mentioning how nice Eito is now that he's Kosei yet in his first meeting with them they claimed Eito was their diamond in the rough. His friends telling Kosei how he joked about proposing to Sarasa but never once mentions that he had feelings for her. He does seem more of a dutiful person than kind imho. I found it off that they are such busybodies but no one was with him in the hospital nor went to pick him up. They were all at home having fun together then he showed up unexpectedly and they just winged it. That story about the paper reel falling on him might be fake? But then again maybe he did died back in 2012 and that's why Eri applied to Neoxis. But also weird that they slept together even though he looks identical to her brother(? ep4 flashback or maybe I misinterpreted the scene , my Japanese is minimal at best) Motive? Eito's motive could be simple revenge/ jealousy.
2. Since this is a timeslip dorama, it may also have a timeloop. In this context, it's possible that the killer is himself, Kosei as Eito. Like if we look at it from the perspective of the first part of episode 1 being the present and the rest of the episodes being a look back at how we got here. So he neighbors of Arakawa become his chosen family and he decides to kill the current Kosei so he can go back in time to prevent the tragedy that befalls them because of Neoxis.Of course, this takes into consideration that there must be a timeloop effect in place. I know that two identical mass can't occupy the same space at the same time ( but he and Eito are separate entities and therefore not the same mass even if the souls are switched.)Motive/ To restart the timeline/ get a second chance to fixit. Anyhooz, I went off on a tangent.
3. Tomono. After the founding members' resignation, they all seemed to harbor ill intentions towards Kosei and makes one wonder if Takarabe and Tsuchiya from the very beginning were Togo's plants to screw Kosei over and take over/ ruin the company at it's peak so Togo would gain ownership ( he is the one who introduced them to Kosei afterall). Tsuchiya deliberately signed the deal with the Bank all the while knowing that it was a sinkhole with the liabilities and debts and he didn't seem remorseful when Kosei reprimanded him abt it. Okay so another tangent. Back to Tomono, he's been with Kosei since the earlier days and really believed that they would change the world together however with Kosei's divergence from his original mission statement, Tomono has rightfully become disillusioned and was outraged by Kosei's response to Kinpei's suicide. I found it odd that he was in such frequent contact with Togo from 2012 reporting to him about everything Kosei did. Motive? Betrayal (of trust).
I've rambled on enough. Lemme know what you guys think. BTW, when Togo calls Tomone to tell them that President Nagamine will meetup with them in Tokyo instead of in Paris like previously planned, current Kosei looked annoyed. Hmmm
This was so controversial when it first came out. This is told in the context of her struggling with her womanhood and romance whereas the drama series is about her growing as a person and an artist.
Is it wrong that I wished I could transmigrate that ex to a lakorn for some slaps and then bring him back to this dorama to move the plot fwd? His arrogance is top tier.
Like of course her ex is gonna be dating the ceo's daughter that she finds out over dinner..., but wait she is…
hahhahha I supect that Takahito decided to do the M&A because of her, like it's part of his big plan to woo her. I was hoping the ex would get fired on the first day of the acquisition but he's needed to move the plot fwd and eat vinegar when our Mary Sue gets with her rich ceo
Yes!!!! I’ve never been to Japan but hopefully their hairstyles don’t really look like that. It looks old…
The reality is that doramas are generally produced for a Japanese audience living in Japan so certain aspects that we associate with Asian dramas from other countries are not focused on in doramas. From what I've seen fashion is highlighted only when it is actually part of the plot or a high school/ college setting , otherwise it's just normal clothes.
