Such a cutsie romance. The chemistry was pretty good. It was the perfect in between grad assignments i needed! Am so busy these days that a quick non complex show is all I cld do and it was....perfect!
Thank you very much! The term yandere comes from Japan and is usually used by anime and manga fans. It's a character…
Thanks for the explanation. This term is definitely fitting. Such an interesting idea! I'm starting to give Jdramas a chance and started on those you listed. Awesome curation!
DollHouse - fantastic summary of the characters. This show is one that I watch for 10 minutes and have to walk…
I have no idea! And that's why I love it:) If this was a western show I could say that they might end up together. However, in Asian Dramas there are endless possibilities. I feel like someone might die or end up sick and then, EVENTUALLY they might end the series with a possible re-connection of CKH and ZWW. You?

I agree. This story is so well done! Such true to life portrayal of romantic relationships. I can't quite figure out why WE is hesitating though. Does shepick up on the player vibes, is she just overly loyal to her fiance, or is she just too scared to risk it all?
Let's be honest...cheating is acceptable based on how well it's packaged. I admit to being an avid follower of the 'forbidden' storyline. I watch these kind of storylines, just so I won't be tempted (fairly immoral yes but I have my reasons, as does anyone else).
Zi Yuan - Is 100% right that women use their beauty as commodity for upward mobility (always have, probably always will). So obviously she's not in love with CKH...he instead is her Avatar. He can go places where she can't and do things she never will. She is by no way a saint, because she seems to revel in the lifestyle he affords her. And, held up to WW as reflection she comes out looking lazy.
Chu Ke Huan - I'm not quite sure about him yet. I was taken aback by his insta-pursuit of Wei Wei. I thought, is this something he normally does? Does he step out on his unstable girlfriend just so he can have some sense of control in their relationship. Additionally, his career is a risky one...one that he seems to love. That says a lot about him and not too much. On one hand he seemingly loves the danger and cut throat of it all. On the other hand, he stayed with his girlfriend of 10 years even though all the emotions have fizzled out. Then again this affair could just be his way of replicating in his personal life the feeling he chases on the stock market daily. Or he could legitimately love WW. This is why I love this series so far. Right now the romantic and the skeptic are at war in me. Oh well.
I love Great so much I've been watching it raw. The Nang'rai is so admirable too that I have no problems watching her either. Those friends of hers though (and I love Bua...but dang), they deserve to be discarded for life. -_-
Same here, I liked her acting and I think she is much better than many Korean actress. I feel sorry for her for…
This Idol thing is crazy. It feels like they belong to their handlers and the public, and not themselves bless them.
And I loooved "When a Man Falls in Love"! I agree about the types of roles she plays; the simpering silly character does nothing for me. Give me a well-fleshed out FL with flaws they don't even grow out of in the end and I'm set. Thank you for the heads up. I'll go google the rest ;)

Exactly. She must be hella strong to still be in this industry as long as she has been. She's definitely my kind of girl... that kind of spirit to just chose whatever series she wants and then move on afterward while ignoring the 'critics'. In this day and age it's way easier to critique someone from the anonymity of your keyboard. I just can't seem to get to the reason behind this much hate.
Am I missing something? There must be some reason for this many people hating on SJK. She is NOT a terrible actor...holy crap, I've seen worst...faar worst! It almost seems like a right of passage to spill this much hate on this actor. The vitriol I see under each of her series, it's a wonder she's still alive. Anyway, I liked it. Liked her here and even in Bride of the Water God. Sheesh.

I love to connect the dots with other viewers.
