I'm up to ep 40 eng sub, it already feels like it's going to be a tragic ending; really hate those endings.
It's killing me waiting for the rest of the episods to get translated...
What a great series, and I love the sound track especially the song at the end, and of course Zhao Li Ying <3, i love all her wuxia/historical shows that I've seen so far.
My favorite part of the series was when she finds out that it was him who gave her the bun.
Zhao yi ling was great, beautiful actress that can pull off girl next door look or the more seductive vixen. Demon goddess? Meow! Yes please.
Anywho, that ending kinda ruined it for me on what would have been a great romance/wuxia series. It felt rushed and unpolished, if they would have spent another episode or two and tied it up it would have been a great ending (minus the memory loss, didn't care for that either)
And I honestly don't know why they cut the most crucial scenes out I was confused until I read about those scenes.
The scene where she curses him and told him that she wouldn't fall in love with him again sent shivers down my spine, such a powerful scene, that's with subbed, I would imagine understanding it natively would have been even more heartfelt. So for me, the series ended on this note, not the cluster that they tried to give us at the very end.
What's is with wuxia and tragedies? 9/10 ends like with tragedies or wrong ship grrr, it leaves me with such a heavy heart each time, I think I'm a glutton for punishment because I keep watching them.
