I'm wondering the same thing if they'll tackle the DPRK issues sideways.
I hope they deliver those issues neatly like they did in chief detective 1958. I think they'll update it after the release of initial stills / initial teaser. I'm just afraid if the issues ends up bringing a "forbidden love" instead of "poignant tale".

That doesn't mean having a forced romance into a kdrama which is not meant to be would make it "the best kdrama". If that's how it works most of the romance kdramas would stand out as medicore dramas. sometimes it's fine without romance whatsoever.

Who knows at this point Netflix will just keep on re-scheduling announced projects like "all of us are dead S2" and "resident playbook (idk if it's Nf original or tvN orginal) to make remakes.
