Damn MDL's user interface only affects k-dramas and j-dramas with negative proportion, while C-dramas and Thai BLs cross 8.8+ without a drop in ratings. I wonder how that works in opposite way.
I wonder if MBC went bankrupt after making this drama, I mean just look at this cast. I wish the ones listed as unknown roles are supporting characters.
How do you define an idol drama ? I always thought it was a drama where all main characters are very beautiful…
Yeah that's one thing, Given that idol dramas always lean more towards traditional romance tropes (modern era/wuxia) and high emotional tension between two attractive leads, which captivates and attracts younger audiences. Johnny is more of an action-oriented actor who does dramas with macho archetypes despite his idol-like appearance in his 30s, which is why internationally all his dramas gets escalated by the viewers.
Two girls and one guy as close friends? That literally never happens unless he’s gay. Of course there’s going…
Dude speak for yourself, one doesn't have to be a gay to have multiple female friends and ofc a straight guy can have multiple female friends and still maintain a platonic relationship without harboring one sided romantic feelings for neither of them.
I don't know. I am watching at the male actors' faces, and they all look like the definition of moral ambiguity.…
The synopsis mentioned above referred "betrayal involving various people". I hope it's not a drama where the female lead is the sole ambitious character, while the male lead/men surrounding her act as her sacrificial lambs who put their lives on the line to save her and die in the end. A story can use the trolley problem as a plot device with a logical cause, rather than something in the name of Love-driven sacrifice. I'm hoping that all the main leads here are morally grey, with individual greed and ambition.
