I Read somewhere that in this adaption Jin-woo will focus more on pampering Hae-in than spanking monsters. Seems like Netflix is indeed trying to use BWS's previous drama as catalyst for this one. This is where SK industry and japanese industry differ immensely, Sk try so hard to add something which isn't needed to make it marketable overseas unlike Japanese industry.
I’m only (for now) interested in watching this because of ML’s tattoos (we never get characters in kdramas…
masculine enough to lift a car above his head and carry a tree trunk on his shoulders.
But all these can be overlooked because this male lead character looks different & fresh he's like someone who challenges basic traditional gender roles.

For binge watchers I'd recommend to pick up the drama either after part 1 or part 2 ends altogether because in woo min-ho's political works the pacing and drama takes time to settle in mainly since this is set in same universe as drug king, with disney+ breadcrumbing schedule most of them will definitely loose interest by the time the drama ends. eg:- uncle samsik.
im confused, watch this or watch the movie? or both and the movie first?
the drama version was edited to a 122-minute theatrical film due to many delays.
difference in Film version: disaster focused event with toned down narrative blending supporting characters focuses less on individual arcs like Hee-ro's revenge for her friend.
difference in drama version (original): with Seven episodes there will be in-depth world building, detailed character introduction and relationship between the characters and individual character arcs which were not included in the movie.
