I'm told that even if season 2 is a dud, the rating here will be 8.9-9.0, of which I'm 100% sure.
9 is too much to wish for again.

In an interview director Yoon Jong-bin declared, "I will not do it again because the OTT work is so hard." However, through the 'Nine Puzzle', I immediately returned to the OTT original work.

Director Yoon said, "At that time, I honestly tried not to because it was physically and mentally difficult," adding, "I was offered a script called 'Nine Puzzle' through Kakao Entertainment while thinking about doing a movie next time." He said, "I didn't think I would do this work until I read the script. But on the monitor level, I read it when a close friend asked me to read it. The script is very immersive, and I couldn't predict the story the whole time I read it. It is about chasing the criminal who committed a serial murder. I think this character is the culprit. If you predict it, you get it wrong. It was interesting to see it unfold unexpectedly," he explained.

Director Yoon said, "I started to worry because they were characters that were not seen in existing criminal films. Should I do this work or not. This is the only work I have directed that I have not written a script. But I don't think I'll write an investigation or a thriller, and I don't think the heroine will lead the play if I write it. I felt like I was able to do it with Yeoju for the first time and last time," he said, explaining the reason for accepting the directing offer.

He said, "I thought the impression of seeing the script for the first time was important because it was not the script I wrote. The focus was on how to convey it in a fun way. Except for "Gundo: Age of Civil War," it was a work based on reality, but "Nine Puzzle" is difficult to happen to reality. If you say it's completely unrealistic, that's not true. It can happen in the middle of reality and cartoons. I tried a lot to direct it like that, he said. "Next time, I tried to put a device that made me imagine who was the culprit in order to maintain the tension somehow. So I tried to put turning points and the appearance of new characters in it," he said, raising expectations.

Kim Da-mi plays Yoon In-na, a murder witness and suspect turned profiler. she is in her sixth year as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Division Criminal Analysis Team, and she is the fastest person to grasp the criminal's motives at the scene "as if she had killed a person."

Kim Da-mi is a "complex person" and said, "I tried to find out about the profession as a profiler, but the director said, 'I have my own profiling method'. So I tried to make my own way of investigation and expression. I also thought about what point or scene I could show the soft sides of Ina. I'm also a person who has a lot on the inside. I took it while thinking about how to express that point," he added.

Kim Dami also said, "I think it's going to happen in reality, but I think it's an unlikely story. There is a cartoonish part. When acting, I profiled sincerely, but when expressing the character, I tried to bring movements and speech to a cartoonish feeling. When you solve a case, you're serious. When I meet other characters, I create characters in a way that shows different sides," he explained.

Son Seok-gu plays Kim Han-sam, an elite police officer who looks loose but has persistence and sharpness. Son Han-sam is a police officer who sees a person who is not an incident, and sometimes is not like a police officer who wonders what is behind it, not just what is seen.

Son Seok-gu said, "He is a character different from the existing detective," adding, "I thought the detective could not wear a hat at work." However, he said, "I wear a beanie because it doesn't violate the regulations, and I have a fashion sense that I haven't seen in ordinary detectives." He continued, "The purpose was to create a person who was slightly floating in reality. As if Hanssem would not exist in reality, there is a cartoon and costume that has been characterized. The main focus is that if the character is strong, it can only be solidified on one side, so it can be boring, so I tried to have one image but see various aspects. "I think the reality and cartoon characters are a proper mix of them," he added.

Finally, Son Seok-gu said, "There are a lot of differences from the existing mystery dramas. I think it's a series with many cute aspects. Please look forward to it," he said.
