Some people find it boring, apparently. It all comes down to preferences. But objectively, this was a solid BL.…
Well yes, I get that not everyone's gonna like it, but the ratings are still low considering almost everyone in the comment section loved the show. I don't find any faults in this show as such, but people might do...it's just that, I feel j-dramas in particular are underrated. ☹
I've always had trouble with the way female characters were written and portrayed in shows...I don't remember liking a female character who's supposed to be a bad person, but with male characters, if the actor is really good looking, they'd add in a sad backstory or those little moments where they are portrayed as caring or "trying to Change". Female characters are not really tried to be justified much. If they are the lead, they are usually good(although I barely ever like an FL's, no offense, they are just not written well, usually). But even psychopaths in shows are tried to be shown as cool and Charming, but we know if it was not being played by a very good looking actor, he'd be creepy. I also think there aren't many female villains. There are usually mean girls who are just too annoyingly evil until you start considering them to be villains to the story. I don't think I've ever watched a show wherein a "bad girl" was likeable to me, if anyone has any suggestions, please recommend a show or two. I'd like to see whether I'll be able to feel for the character just like I feel for those "bad boys".😅😅
Nooo...please...no. I refuse to believe this is the ending to the episode. It was going so well. (He even got her the keychain she liked ☹)I'm pretty sure Igarashi realized he likes Izumi, but Michhi had to ruin it. I'm not liking this. He had soooo many years with Izumi, I say he lost his chance. Please don't get in between them...🤧🤧 waiting for ep 6...
I feel really bad for Igarashi. It's like, he didn't have much in life to enjoy anyways. When he finally found someone he liked...ahhh...why'd she have to say it was just a bet. If they didn't get back together soon, I'll be really heartbroken...😭😭
I just realized that Naoki opened up the most to Kotoko. He never talked much to anyone in the first season, but in the second season he started to talk about little things like his rival at medical school, giving advice to Kotoko on kin-Chan, sometimes telling her how he feels. Naoki is the kinda person who doesn't talk about everything, unlike Kotoko, who likes to express everything she feels, but he still tried to do that. I still believe that he was always rude to Kotoko, but just wanted to point this out.
This and 'kanojo wa kirei datta' are two rom-coms I'm really enjoying at the moment. The characters in this one are good. The FL is independent and the ML is turning into a very capable and nice guy. He's a little rude in the beginning, but he's already changed by the 4th ep...I'm liking it so far...I guess in short the answer would be, "yes"
I thought it would be Asakura and Naruse when I started watching, but Asakura is ALWAYS with Fukazawa. Also, Fukazawa…
Ahh...you ship them too? I don't know why, but I thought they were hinting at something since the first ep...and when I sensed that, I started to ship them too...😅😅 We can only wait. But it's not really a loss because both of them are nice guys...let's see what happens...😋
Somehow, this transformation, is different from what I've usually seen in shows. Usually, there'd be a girl who's not liked by people, and then she changes her looks, and every guy falls for her. But in this one, people already like her, the transformation is for HERSELF. It's like a new beginning for her. I like that...
