Exactly!!! It should be rated higher. I saw quite a few people rate it a 6.5 - 7.5 because of the โno kissโ…
You've got to be kidding me! 6.5 because "no kiss"??? I don't even know what to say at this point. People can be crazy!!! I've lost all faith in people anyways...๐๐
Ep 4 was hilarious! And their trip was so cute and funny. But, we came to know a little more about Risa's character in this episode. She's pretty and men acknowledge that, but that's all they see in her. No man she has met has liked her genuinely before and Sosuke feels like the only guy to have liked her. But that's not true either, Sosuke is in love with the idea of his childhood best friend 'Ai', which means it could've been anyone, and I'm pretty sure if Ai never lied to Sosuke, he would've still liked Ai, no matter how she is today. I feel so bad for all of them right now. None of them can be with the person they like. But that preview, why do they have to add something like that when we know it's gonna work out in the end...but I still love this show, more like obsessed with it...but let's see what happens next...can't wait!
Also, whoever thought it would be a good idea to cast Akaso Eiji for the role of second male lead like, I just die every time he smiles, why do you have to make us suffer like that. I mean, I like Nakajima Kento too and I'm shipping the leads, but that's what the problem is. Akaso's character is too nice and my heart is so confused right now...๐๐๐
Japanese dramas surely are weird(not all), but not in a way that's creepy or uncomfortable (not all) but rather…
Exactly. You put into words what I was thinking. You know it's like, when I watch a j-drama and love it, I feel kinda bad that I wouldn't find something like this again(except for shows adapted from shoujo mangas). They are all so new and different and they surely make some of the best slice of life dramas, which seem more realistic, other than the other Asian dramas that make lots of fantasized romance dramas. But honestly, that's what sells. I wish j-dramas were more popular, but I fear they'll lose their originality if that happened.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this movie. I don't really like teacher-student relationships, but I gave a shot cuz' it was Toma and Suzu. But it was still interesting to watch cuz' you wouldn't be sure of what's next. Some of the parts would make you cringe, others would make you smile. I still liked this movie. Not the best one out there, but I still liked it. Also, I love the OST for this movie...
P.S: I think we all need to understand that this is not to be taken seriously. It's based on a manga and honestly, things like these come across many young people's minds. Having a crush on someone older at a young age is normal, but if you're still a minor, you shouldn't pursue that person. Sure we say, love has no boundaries, but to wait till you exactly understand the other person and think you can trust them, really causes no harm. Time is the best teacher. Which is why you learn as you get older. The teacher in this movie looked like a really sincere, smart person, but the reality of the world is, you never know when that person starts taking advantage of you. It is important to take caution at all times, cuz' we live in a world where children can't trust adults. And they are supposed to be the mature ones.
My favorite is coming back to the comments and seeing people generalize jdramas as a whole as these 'weird, controversial'…
Japanese dramas surely are weird(not all), but not in a way that's creepy or uncomfortable (not all) but rather unique and new. And it's their "weirdness", that make me love them so much...
I see a lot of comments calling this show wholesome and fluffy and cute etc. and sure it definitely is, but only…
I honestly liked that there were no kissing scenes, because if you've watched the show you'd know it doesn't really need it. Like, the small gestures by Kurosawa and Adachi, like looking out for each other, motivating each other, for example the competition that Adachi applies for, making chocolates for each other on valentines, they were sweet enough. And just as romantic as the big gestures that we often see in dramas, because we knew for a fact that the feelings of both of them were genuine. One of them wasn't imposing his feelings on the other. Everything about their relationship is so pure and beautiful that you wouldn't want it to be any other way.
Why would she want Mitsuki dead? But honestly, we don't really know what's going on. And the revelation in the 4th episode just confused things more...
Why is everything about this so....fresh? Like having a refreshing iced-drink on a hot summer day. Like, the plot isn't new, but it seems so fresh...๐ ๐
So you're telling me Nikaido Fumi is the same person who played the girl in 'wolf girl black prince' LA? How does she look so different but at the same time she doesn't?๐ฎ๐ฎ
And I agree, the opening is beautiful...
