Decent watch, if you are a woman of a certain age you will understand the struggles of the FL and the pressure that women have. Even the age-gap issue is frowned upon since she is an"old woman". But all handled in a very light way, positive way, no heaviness.
Don't want to lie, i cried after watching this movie. I was just reminded of just how adult-ing and trying to make it can be so hard and how much we all lose ourselves.
We spend our lives working jobs we don't like, ignoring or alienating ourselves from family&friends. At the end of the day the cost is too great.
Good life lesson : Hope is always there, even when you lose sight of it. 💫
emotional drama, sad and somewhat thought provoking. It explores the ML's relationships including with his father. Toxic and disfunctional,i was glad when the train started to move. For a moment i almost screamed. It ended the right way
I feel like i wasted my time, i know these manga live adaptations can be a hit or miss and this one was super cringey. It's hard to imagine what their relationship will be like, because FL is abusive towards him. That's how i see it, she treats him really bad.
Wow, this movie unbelievably sad story, a complicated romance and people whose circumstances in life seem to get worse despite them trying their best to change them. I enjoyed it but it left me feeling sad and made me cry.
Beautiful cinematography and a bit of a silent movie in the normal Japanese way of little or no dialogue in some Scenes. The only thing i hated is the rude & ungrateful Tamako who acted like a child/teenager when she is in her twenties.
Was an okay movie, short & straight to the point. Was not a fan of her brother& wished there had developed that relationship made them a little bit closer. It felt as though there were so many unspoken things between them.
sexy but lacked any real emotions.movie reminds me a lot of the Hollywood Movie, "Thelma & Louise" . I was not moved at all by this movie, i failed to sympathise with the characters. I had to watch it in two sittings because of this.
There really isn't much in this movie except for the beautiful shades & shadows of the cinematography. The FL was exasperating to no end. Not even sure what the story is all about. Let's not even talk about Baku (sigh).
A very realistic portrayal of homelessness and how the system constantly lets down those who are on the fringes of society. The irony of the situation is that high,-rise buildings keep being built.
More of a mindless watch and still watchable. I had to grit my teeth because of the FL's OTP happiness/cheeriness and constant giving herself to others (which i think is unhealthy/unrealistic).
More interesting than i thought it would be. Wish it had gone longer as i would have loved for some of the issues to be resolved or just see what happens next especially for his grandmother.
