I answered earlier at one of your countless comments bashing FL and at the end I wrote "I don't think he is a jerk". I don't. Two wonderful characters with a development arc, in a great drama we have here. So, what is your problem? You keep posting these comments against FL from the start, nitpicking at every breath she takes, but you whitewash and overlook every single bad thing ML has done!

I agree. We overlook his actions, but he IS a stalker and in rl it would be scary, but here he is our ML, we want him get the girl and have HE with her.

It must be hard for those actors to live and work in such toxic environment.
I am really sad to say, but for the first time I understand how fan war works, since we have no such thing where I come from. So, fans of actor A bash everything about actor B, and neutral viewers like me start to feel negativity for actor A because of his fans.
All these misogynist comments that blame everything on FL while pretending that ML is some kind of angel are really starting to put me off of the actor TJC. I guess, when this drama ends, I will dislike him. It's irrational and bias, I know, but I'm so annoyed by this "ML can do no wrong, FL is the worst" narrative on this page spread by his fan girls that it affects my judgment.
(It's my first time to watch TJC and he is such a good actor. Really good. Proper actor. What a pity.)

Non of those personas were created for him. He might means a world to you, but he means nothing to SCC, they are not even friends and that's because he, I repeat - HE dislikes her hardly. It is his fault they are not in good terms. He is always cold and sustained toward her.

She has no obligation to return his precious feelings, the same way he didn't return hers for years, he left her heartbroken but you don't feel sorry for her, do you?

She is not idiot to go around the world and tell her secrets to some random persons. He is "random" as per his own choice, so his loss. She told about bracelet to the one she is close to.

Nothing, nothing, nothing of this would happen if he didn't stalk her like a maniac and if he respected Su Miao's and Fang Jin's rejections (so many of them) in the first place.
She owns him nothing.

He is a borderline stalker but it is her fault for trying to get away from that.

I watch simultaneously several dramas and all female leads are bashed, no matter what they do or what are they like. I guess bashing female leads can become an Olympic sport or something.
On the other hand, male leads can do no wrong.

I like both of the leads, non of them is perfect and non of them is in wrong all the time, but he being a stalker got him in trouble and all are blaming it on FL. Unbelievable!

If I was hiring someone for a job in my firm I would care about their knowledge and competence, not how they dress or look. What on earth should I do with a beautiful and well dressed incompetent idiot working for me?!

Unfortunately, large number of people following this drama and writing on this page are actors fan girls, they don't care about plot nor FL.

I wonder if it is TQ that has to see "original" SCC in real light, without judgment he has, that will "unlock" colors to him and the truth about bracelet?

I agree. No1, including all this people who think SCC should/must (shame on her) tell him the truth wouldn't if there were in her shoes. For her, he is a boss, a guy she had crush on and was treated badly. On top of all, he still doesn't treat her nicely.
No1 in the right mind wouldn't go around telling some random people such big personal secret.

NP, after all, if all of them are those nice, sweet, green flags we wouldn't have a drama.

Sacking old man and taking his position isn't bad? I know, he didn't do it, it was an order, but he was so so SO arrogant and full of himself, that he showed no remorse for the old boss who was left jobless. Even if it wasn't his doing, and it wasn't, as a decent human being he should feel bad about situation those people were put in, where everyone can lose their jobs as well.

I wonder how those females who defend him (especially completely unprovoked "do you think I could like someone like her" incident) would feel and act if someone treated them like he treated her in front of all those people?

The OP wrote how "she took away all the colors from his life" and I reacted how she did nothing like that, he did it to himself. His brain drained all those colors to help him stop being idiot with a grudge. Only then he can heal. Has nothing to do with her.

I NEVER said he dislikes her for her looks, you just put words in my mouth. I said he holds a grudge and that is a reason he can't see the truth - she is the one!
I already wrote in another post that Su Miao's death was cruel, FL wasn't at her best, but the girls didn't have any other option, (and I'm not saying this as excuse), because he was acting as an obsessive maniac toward FL in all her transformations: chasing SM, chasing FJ, going to zoo for alpaca and so on. They thought he is this jerk with no emotions and SM's death won't affect him, they were wrong and she admitted it was wrong.
But, the whole point is: non of this would happen if he didn't act like obsessive maniac. Maybe some girls think his behavior is romantic, but if he was this fat and ugly guy, not character played by ge ge, all those girls would call police on him. In last episode she says "no", he ignores (as always), he follows her to the subway and than jumps in despair all over her. He just doesn't know how to take "NO"... not romantic and not her fault. And, again, I can understand why he did it the same way I can understand why FL brutally killed off SM.

I don't hate on him, I hate on "a character played by ge ge can't be wrong, poor him, it's all FL's fault" narrative spread over and over, because he is so wrong in many aspects. I actually like his character because he is human being, far from perfect and he isn't knight in shining armor. So, there is no need to wash out his faults so we can pretend he is - he isn't and that is so refreshing!

P.S. I just came from Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, FL is support role, has very little screen time and is one of the best written female leads. She is great. But, if you go through the page, you will see that lots of comments are bashing her. Women hating on women, but overlooking or defending hard borderline man's behavior - It really bugs me, I must say.
