This is just another 1990s rom-com drama with modern dressed. I still don't know what Jiho liked in SangEun but…
1990s ones were full of passive aggression, endless miscommunications, spite, lack of boundaries, characters walking, crying, kissing in heavy rain... hahaha "good" ol messed up drama times 😆
but yea... this plot could have been muuuch better... too many characters badly written
I don't watch the show as I am not into romcoms, but why are some of you so pressed about the drama/sad/heavy…
the comedic moments are there and very enjoyable. I won't say I'm terribly upset at the chaebol drama, just not as invested in it, as there are other potential plotlines that could have been explored (e.g. Gwangnam's arc, or other client backstories). But the chaebol drama is still a major part of the plot afterall so I go along with it.
I think most of us who have been following also enjoy each other's comments and it's fun to follow together (even complaining together lol).
personally, I found the beginning few episodes quite enjoyable and interesting. The main leads and Gwang Nam are…
@Mk112 hm.. the characters JiHo and Gwangnam keep me watching :) chaebol family drama and the way they scripted Haejin isn't great to me. I'm ambivalent on my rating cos of the last 2 episodes determining it.. I don't regret following the drama despite its flaws, cos there are some really great moments. honestly it seems polarizing so depends on individual, for example there are people finding JiHo boring (he's super interesting to those of us introverts lol), and those who love 2ML. If you do give it a try, hopefully there are things you'd enjoy even if it's not the best drama 😊
Going into it's last 2 episodes, do you guys recommend watching this drama??? I used to really like Park Min Young,…
personally, I found the beginning few episodes quite enjoyable and interesting. The main leads and Gwang Nam are really great to watch, though I've realized not everyone catches the micro expressions of Go Kyung Pyo (he really nails this character). From our chatter here, those of us who relate/ understand social anxiety find his characterization awesome. I'm watching cos I'm really invested in the characters. script wise not really that great after a few episodes, but I tag along cos it's still a fun ride.
ML is more cool now. He and FL look very cute together. SML has a lot to do on his plate because he can be happy.…
completely agree. wouldn't mind if they find mutual support as colleagues and even friendship. being happy really isn't just about getting into a romantic relationship...
JiHo is casting his cuddly teddy bear spell on MiHo lol. I think nobody had ever risked their lives for hers... so her ice cap melted. His bluntness seems to work well with her as well (no 2nd guessing of motives, no hidden agendas that she is so used to). I still hope whatever unveiling of secrets isn't too anticlimatic.
Glad to still see JiHo's quirkiness in the episode, but somehow for me, the surrounding drama and HaeJin's arc seems to overshadow his arc. I don't mind watching other characters, but with 3 episodes to go, hope it's not a rushed ending.
Agreeably, would have preferred other ways of fleshing out the couple's story, even a 12 episode drama focusing on these 2 dorks would be great. But alright, I appreciate the effort of writers making human beings as complex and convoluted as possible, so I shall finish this drama lol.

2FL really redeems herself huh.. but i still don't ship her with 2ML... though i guess a happy ending for everyone is impt.
I want to see more Gwang Nam for last ep
SangEun's really great this episode. I feel all her emotions.

the romance is slow burn and really sweet.
don't love how they make him agreeable to social drink since that wasn't his thing.
2nd FL is overly nice lol. I don't mind that at all, but it makes her another weak plot device somehow.
