Go Ahead (2020) but its not a typical rom-com and it will make you cry, feel emotions for characters and much more.
Lighter & Princess (2022) if you are looking for a lighter drama with good story and character development...(it has uni theme)
Love Like the Galaxy it lives-up to its hype.
The story of Ming-Lan (2018) its an underdog and deserves better ratings, even the side characters have better story than a lot of main-leads.
Dr-Romantic (season 2-3) its pretty good but take it with huge grain of salt cuz I am doc and may be biased towards it.

You may not believe it but we have similar taste in drama's, I also hate 1 IQ jerks in Asian drama's, who never learns any lesson and continue to be jerk "through and through" but that being said, even within the confines of your statement. King the land deserves nothing above 7 cuz there are legendary gems like "GoAhead". If you love chemistry+ good story, then you can watch "Love is sweet" or any other Bai-Lu drama after 2019.

He is not wrong, and you really need to watch some good 9/10 drama before calling it something extra-ordinary. This drama is riding high on Yoona star-power, and I don't know what to write after that cuz plot is non-existent.
I would recommend you to watch Go-ahead and then compare them both to see, if King the Land deserves 8.4 rating or you can watch "Love is sweet" before calling this extraordinary.

I will say whatever the fuck I want and there is a reason why S+ tier drama like this got such a low rating at starting episodes. I you are enjoying it good for you but try to force your opinion on other people.
I stand by what I said, its VFX are very low quality as compared to TOTEM and even the chemistry of leads was lack-Luster, to top that off it has "OLD HAG" Yang Zi in it. The entire premise of MDL is to rate drama's based upon their quality but now this site is filled with softies like you, which target people stating their honest opinions. TOTEM has fucked everybody cuz now people subconsciously compare new releases with it.

I hope the cast Bai Lu and LYX toghter in furture projects.....and as for TOTEM CGI, it will be easy for future projects to imitate it cuz now development is done and other production houses will have the electronic library to use.
Its like a technological leap is achieved with TOTEM and now other projects will use it to achieve similar effects.

and all these new Lusi fans can suck my ass, I have been supporting her from 2018's from her "Oh my emperor days" but still I wouldn't lie about the facts. Lusi have only recently managed to give performance worthy of critical acclaim and after LLTG, it was gone downhill again similar to her old ones.
Bai Lu have been consistent and is giving "Hits after Hits" and if you at her career graph, you will see "one critically acclaimed performance after another" and if it wasn't for the "OLD HAGS" (I will say it) like Yan MI. both of these actors could have reached zenith of their career.

I think fireworks in my heart was pretty good but that being said, after TOTEM things have slowed down quite a lot. I would even go as far as to speak the truth; even Hidden love is grossly overrated.
remove Lusi stardom from it and it was nothing, just a mediocre show.
