I don´t remember the exact episode but it was around the time, FL passed college entrance examination and went to new city after she got admission in the uni where ML was working (typical age of students at college entrance exam in China is 17-18).

This actually applies to you and in the original novel, they have shown the reaction I was expecting, and their reconnection was natural, logical and humane. Before you make something up, remember drama has skipped some parts of the novel but they haven´t added anything new or modified the script to work with new reality. Yep I was under the assumption they are onto their old tricks of releasing one episode for normal viewers and second one is paid (I wasn´t watching the drama daily), by that pattern we should be at ep 34 by the day of the leaks. When I saw all episodes, I thought they have dropped Express package.
Which they didn´t and I logged in on this site and learned the truth after binging the whole drama. I am just baffled how the hell hackers managed to get their hands on Full-HD drama (quality is like just like Netflix) with proper subtitles.

There should have been some sort of initial backlash and then ML coming to his senses, when he discovered new evidence supporting FL narrative or they should have modified the plot to present some evidence in the beginning that seeded doubt in ML´s mind.
