Ongoing person here; watching as they come out and waiting for express.
My dumb ass though they released 10 episodes express package and then I logged in here and found out about the leaks. This speaks volumes about success of the drama, if hackers took time out of their day to go after random c-drama it means drama is doing extremely well in China and globally. I can just say this much, its typical c-drama ending but watch out for intimate scenes tho.... they were one of the best C-dramas have to offer (eye candy for both genders) and TXW set a standard..... I think censors were also fans of the leads and they let it slide.
the drama ends very soon and I just want to say that I liked our community from the beginning even tho I hopped…
¨I was disappointed in the past by book adaptions and even tho this has some small flaws I'm still loving it as I did at the beginning.¨ Get ready to be disappointed by this adaptation too, I know it was ludicrous to expect them to pack everything in 40 episodes but they ¨F´ed up¨ bad in remaining episodes and ending was bittersweet with a lot of plot holes. They explained the enemy motives, but it was too late and half of shit doesn´t even makes sense. I blame 40 episodes format and slow pacing in earlier episodes for that, the palace era deserved 20 episodes of its own to explain the stuff but they didn´t skimmed on romance scenes......TXW set a precedent/Standard for intimate scenes in C-Drama industry.
AS MUCH AS I HATE SUI YUANQING, I tried guys, I tried so hard not to shed tears for his death. I tried so hard…
Lol I didn´t feel an ounce of remorse at his death and instead of cowering in front of bandit leader, he should have allowed FL or other towns people Lian to kill him and quench their thirst for revenge. I respect his father at least he died like a proper warrior !
it's literally happening in the new episodes tomorrow...
Lol, grow up and learn to take a loss (accept you are wrong) and don´t argue about things you don´t understand (you were talking the loudest tales). Funny thing is I wasn´t even talking to you and you decided to wade in and started talking mad shit. Unfortunately, I didn´t knew about the leak and was under the assumption they have dropped all episodes in some sort of Express package (I was watching on Netflix before), but needless to say they will break the novel and skip a lot of details to cramp up things in last 10 episodes. Which honestly looks like the work of Chinese censors, but last things are ¨good and bad at same time¨. Things look polished on surface, but if you are paying attention to the plot, things are choppy with ¨PLOT TRENCHES (not holes) and we have rushed ending with director jumping form scenes to scenes with zero context and whole court just accepted new Emperor without even knowing who he is and villains just killed themselves, which doesn´t makes any sense. So you are wrong

You are spitting facts here but it's still memorable for me because I was in a long drama slump for like 7-9 months. I tried to watch a lot of things, but nothing was catching my attention. Then this drama managed to rope me in, and I have finally finished something after a longtime. I don´t think a lot of people will recognize me here because old users have left but I used to be pretty active user here.

Thanks brother when you have seen enough C-dramas you can predict this shit quiet easily. But that being said, they still did better than I was expecting it. I don't think it was possible to cover the whole novel in 40 episodes but it's still 8.5-9 drama in my opinion.
You can say that hospital have finally decided to extra staff and we can finally return to normal routine. That being said, I tried to watch dramas but they just weren´t good enough to motivate someone to log back on and watch stuff in free time. This one is good so far and I am happy ZLH and Tian Xi wei have decided to do something worthwhile to shatter their image/reputation of Eye candy.
I take my comment back, either FL is too innocent or he just played the perfect victim and woo her back by appealing to her emotional-protective side.....dude is master manipulator. Now he got his grandmaster to back him up too !
Let's just not discuss plot holes because XZ is supposed to be super powerful general and the only thing worthwhile he has done so far is yank FL from battlefield.
Yep, the funniest part for me was General Wu (ML assistant). He got hit just onetime and call it quits. I mean I get it dude was crazy, but it was really funny to see him, just sit there like a spectator and watch FL struggle with her life......it was like a child, who has just call his mom to defend him 😂😂😂😂😂.
