I love L&R sm but I dislike AOL (find alot of problem w/ it).
Imo Immortal Samsara has 0 similarity to AOL except ofc the basic xinxia about deities w/ similar setup/ costume.

However the ML FL characters imo were written tons better that you can't help to root & cry for them (which AOL for me failed to do so, I rooted for RunYu the SML only there, lol).

Am totally engross on the characters here, their love in the heavenly realm is beautiful & tragic while they currently having cute bickering adventures w/ romance in the mortal realm. So I'd recommend you to try, it's totally worth the watch.

Yan Dan the FL character here shaping up to be my fav FL along w/ Ying Yuan/ TZ the ML character here to be my fav ML next to Si Feng 🤭.

Yup, I can differ them but you can mistook them at a first glance (in my case when they're doing ads with modern clothing), for instance I need 2 seconds to tell, kkk

& it's not helping when they have similar hairstyle. I can differ both in their respective drama (different style of acting), but harder in their ads 😅

Just enjoy all the fluff they give as much as you can, my curious ass seems to find a key to their latest (final) arc & oh my I think I need to prepare my heart and more tissues.

Honestly Naksu as a character has left more impression than the current Mudeok who were sent to background as a supporting character to the ML, so I don't mind if S2 was meant to give Naksu her original body if that means she can be back to her original badass self.

Honestly I can even watch 20ep++ just the two of them TZ-YD going wanders bickering in the mortal realms (while struggling to watch a whole plot kdrama w/ 20 ep 😅) my eyes are glued on screen & absorbed in their moments whenever they're together, their chemistry is no joke.

I just read their synopsis & it's pretty interesting so I think it's worth to try & put it on my ptw, Thank you!
