I liked this drama from the get go, they had interesting cases & awesome characterization, but gotta say the finale I find quite underwhelming, they spent too much time on something that isn't needed imho (cartoonish final boss) & most of my fav character meet unfavourable ending 🤧 At times I feel like they insert somewhat a nationalism propaganda too, lol. Overall it's a good ending but imo they shd focus more on the friendship rather than the nation.
Chiying bug has fully taken control over Li Si and Meng Rui sacrificed his self to bring Li Si back to his sense, to make up for "his mistake" *maybe also by getting stabbed just like what he did to Li Si 🫡

I want to see the FL to grovel/ appreciate the ML's love cause often I think his effort is too one sided, so am glad that they show us that.
The FL actress did a great job in conveying her feelings/love to the ML with her eyes so I can feel her love, but the script/her action doesn't support that narrative, it's a bummer to me that they lost 3000years for it.
Thankfully at least they make them reunite in the end so they can learn from that mistake.
Also the fl has every reason to be mad at the ml he said you don't need to save everyone like she didn't do that…
She's reckless by putting herself into danger every single time, any guy who love her would be upset & give the same reaction including the SML if she keep doing it for some random stranger. She need to learn to respect her partner's view too & not being selfish keep forcing her own will while neglect to understand that she's hurting the ML's feeling everytime he see her getting hurted over and over, like does she ever care for the ML at all? Would you want to see your loved ones keep getting hurted over and over for some random strangers? She need to be more careful & responsible with what she's doing.
Cause if you ask any ML to hv no problem w/ it then it only means they just don't love her that much.

While I think I liked the ep towards the ending more than those annoying love triangle focused middle ep, but I agree that they shd hv worked on the FL feelings more, the cut was pretty abrupt & with no realization, I feel the ML work for their relationship & caring towards the FL more (make his effort more) than the otherway around. I too prefer them in serious/melo/angst more cause their great acting really show then compare to cringe comedy 😂 Wish they could focus more on the leads making their effort to make their relationship work earlier than a forced love triangle. I liked the cute bromance interaction between ML SML while SML FL romantic interaction earlier making me want to smash my screen, they shd hv ended the love triangle ages ago 🗿.
Same tbh, I hate the love triangle & her romantic interaction w/ the SML with passion hahahha.. can't say it end quick but I can say once it's ended, poof all the annoying things is gone n ML SML actually form a cute bromance
