Just like Bai Ze said, they'll see themselves from other's pov coz the star stone wants them to understand (this star stone has a really great wisdom 🤧) so they'll take their opposite/respective partner's place (not their ownself).

Li Jie: he's YWH, so he take his brother's pov (I think he's our Ji Ling)
WSG: he take his own's father pov
WWY: she take WSG mother's pov, the victim's pov
LWY/LS: this one is the most confusing, I think they take Jiu Ying's pov, maybe she need to understand JY if they want to beat him later (as she'll become his vessel)

Thank you, I feel the same way, it's pretty confusing at first, esp since we know nothing about their world, I think I got hooked right after Xiao Wei's arc (Ji Ling to Long Shen's arc) ❤️‍🔥

Man the hold this drama had for me:
#1 fluttering romance/love story w/ insane chemistry, so good that I feel too invested, obsessed & can't function properly coz Ji Lu is in my mind 24/7 (can't even concentrate to watch other drama)
#2 intriguing, engaging plot, so many theories to make, it's racking my brain with all the mysteries, can't wait for the reveal
#3 breathtaking cinematography, costume, people!
#4 excellent CGI, makes other drama feel cartoonish
#5 great acting & character's writing, all that micro expression (a shout out for JJY breakthrough acting here, a great leap from her past work), great characters writing with so many layers to peel,
#6 beautiful heartwrenching angst, be it their past, present or future each character hold their own misery I can't wait for them to finally break me 🥹
#7 Well fitting bgm, instantly pumping your adrenaline when they're fighting & tears inducing during sad moments
#8 Last but not least, heartwarming sismance, really loving the bond they have here, I hope they survive till the end

It's a really good, amazing drama, just make sure you give 'em a try at least 7ep coz the real deal happens after that & they need more time to settle their world building (given it's fantasy) but it's all gonna be totally WORTH IT!
