Man the hold this drama had for me:
#1 fluttering romance/love story w/ insane chemistry, so good that I feel too invested, obsessed & can't function properly coz Ji Lu is in my mind 24/7 (can't even concentrate to watch other drama)
#2 intriguing, engaging plot, so many theories to make, it's racking my brain with all the mysteries, can't wait for the reveal
#3 breathtaking cinematography, costume, people!
#4 excellent CGI, makes other drama feel cartoonish
#5 great acting & character's writing, all that micro expression (a shout out for JJY breakthrough acting here, a great leap from her past work), great characters writing with so many layers to peel,
#6 beautiful heartwrenching angst, be it their past, present or future each character hold their own misery I can't wait for them to finally break me 🥹
#7 Well fitting bgm, instantly pumping your adrenaline when they're fighting & tears inducing during sad moments
#8 Last but not least, heartwarming sismance, really loving the bond they have here, I hope they survive till the end

It's a really good, amazing drama, just make sure you give 'em a try at least 7ep coz the real deal happens after that & they need more time to settle their world building (given it's fantasy) but it's all gonna be totally WORTH IT!

Seems getting overwhelmed with his own feelings regardless he's trying by all means to deny it, his heart know what it wants but he know he shdn't (hence the tears).

His tears went all back in tho seeing how funny Wu Yi being that impatient/eagerly asked for a kiss, just about him being all sentimental, lol she's so cute

FR, I'm in love with this pairing yet I'm confused as to what shd I call them with since JiLu doesn't sound right when he never admit it (regardless deepdown it's him but we don't know his real name) & Long Shen is his title that idk if really his & neither did Chi Wen 😂 asdghijlkll

It's only on the first 5 ep (or lesser than that) where she's playing her supposed role, a seductive youngest fox

The real deal happens ep 6 onwards, from 7 is getting real good
