I'm an introvert myself (ISFP) but imo PBE's acting in this doesn't represent introvert people at all except he gives a dead pan face acting. He didn't give any depth to his acting.

Idk which one of the SL on Alchemy you're referring to but I def have a crush/ SLS on Yul tho it's expected since calm & tender ML is totally my type, I love the ML too he's adorable but dang Yul makes my heart flutters left & right 🤣

If I'm the actor I'd see it as a criticism for the casting team for not learning their materials properly, it's not the actor's fault. Criticism =/= hate & it's not even that serious, if you can't differ criticsm w/ hate then that's your problem.
But you're just exposing yourself by taking it way overboard & rude to others over a fictional drama, that's pretty sad 🤷‍♀️

By that logic so if a drama has negative feedbacks & low rated on SK but did well on Netflix or even mdl, who's more objective?
That's also statistics.
That's why objective takes for a drama is hard to distinguish as people's preference & value in life matters by alot as a determining factor.

I second this, for me it's more "appreciating & learning the process" than too much focusing on getting the answer, sometimes the process is more important than the destination itself, just like the question is more important than the answer (as being mentioned in the drama), so I'm really enjoying the ride the drama has given for me thus far 😊.

Damn ep 9 makes me cry so much.

Thank you for the recommendation, I'll look into it, I've been hearing only good reviews on Attorney so it's really tempting me to start it, but I hv too many on my plate rn & exams also coming up 😂 so maybe I'll start a lil' bit later after more ep available 🤭

Agreed, I really appreciated how Link took their time to build the main lead's relationship & focus on internal struggle, like you said, it felt more intimate & relatable, and the main lead's acting took that even more to another level. Hence, eventhough I watched plenty airing drama, Link is the only airing who make me literally counting hours for their next ep to come ♡

No matter who's the person, it will always be subjectively speaking as everyone have different taste, different appreciation on parts of the drama & everyone have their own biasness which's why it's hard to determine objectiveness. So even if you think Alchemy is the best, it's for you personally, & if she think Link is the best it's also for her personally.
No one can represent other taste & thoughts/ opinions.
As for me, even if I love Alchemy sm, I still more invested on the characters & psychological building on Link more and find waiting for their new ep the hardest, so if I had to choose, I'd still go for Link tho I enjoy watching them both almost equally.

He's a terrific actor, I've seen him in numerous drama & he always deliver, I can't help but to always love him even when he play villain/ morally grey characters thanks to the depth he give from his acting alone

Yes I love to see bickering couple & both Alchemy and Link delivered that well just like FNOS too, so hopefully they can keep it till the end 😁
Alchemy imo did well in building their world set up & complex story with loveable characters lined up.
Link imo did well in building its suspense while having perfect mix genre, hilarious black comedy, thriller & melo, the leads acting in showing complex emotion are just so good.
I'm glad to find these two drama series (Link, follow by Alchemy) right after FNOS ended so it helped me getting through fnos withdrawal ❤

It's amazing how I love all the characters in this, their dynamics all are just so interesting to watch.
I love the OTP (obviously), their bickering & quarell infront yet protecting & caring at back are just *chef's kiss
I love Seo Yul, a calm & tender ML is totally my type 💗 so I reserved him for myself xD
I love all Mage teachers, they're all hilarious in their own way
I love the comic reliever, Uk's blonde buddy
The CP seem to be irritating at first but the recent development show he's not that senseless afterall, it's funny to see how he's aware Mu Deok isn't being sincere & just buttering him up yet he still choose to work on her favour 🤣, the actor's deep voice is also 🔥

So far, Alchemy & Link is my fav airing show, it's really a delight to have them airing back to back from Sat to Tue, am having a blast ☺❤

This exactly, he's been given a good amount of sad backstory & complex character to started with but his acting gives nothing but flat expression, so the sob backstory meant nothing as his acting didn't make it believable whatsoever.
I feel even the director has given up on him either (on the scene between him & So Ra where she ask him if he cheats), I feel bad for the actress had to make something out of nothing from PBE.
