Sorry to jump into your conversation, just want to share my thoughts. I have to agree to disagree, for me the lack of writing was the reason why this drama become a failure one (I said it's for me). It's not that I don't like slow paced melo, or hoping for a romcom, it's just they're throwing too many unnecessary drama which not really important or give enough impact to the story. The writer also makes too many irritating characters whom hard for us to related with/rooted for. The plot was also a bit confusing, it's like they give us a bit of everything, a bit here a bit there but we can't connected them yet, like the reason JY falls for her. If I have to compare it to other drama, I'd like to compare it with Secret (starred by Jisung & HJE), it was a good one, you can feel the angst, their struggleness but also understand why was his mom (&her ex) did those things, unlike JY's mom here in UF, she's just being so unreasonable and it's hard to understand her character.

It felt episodic when it's not supposed to be feel like that.. There's no main plot, no serious plot, no plot at all, all problem more likely will be solved in 1 episode, it's like they're keep throwing random stories in each and every episodes

Agreed, despite genre differences, this drama had a similiar vibe to Cruel city when I watched it, the tension, goosebumps, keeps you sit on the edge of your seat. It was truly a masterpiece

seriously, this drama is so unpredictable and they're getting better and better with each of episodes. I think my brain will explodes from overthink where will this story heading to, I should've just hibernate till next wednesday, please wakes me up when ep 5 airs T v T
I wonder how they'll get their happy ending when they're living in a different world and KC didn't even exist in the real world.. Give me the rest of the episodes now pleaseee, pallii pallii.... X')

While people loved to see how JY confessed to NE in public infront of those massive fans as romantic action, I found it as an another JY's immature and selfish action. NE doesn't even gives him a slight green light that she likes him. Why would he think she will like it? He only think what's best for himself, never think of NE, he should know that his massive fans will hates NE for that. He keeps expecting NE to like him back when he's only treated her like a crap, I mean, dude, kicking her when she's drunk, really?? I hated the writer for making JY to be just another cliche jerky boyfriend type material, I was expecting UF from quite a long time, hoping for a good melo not an irritating melo T v T

I think there's a differences between knowing you're gonna die soon so you're trying to do your best to have a better life in your limited time with being good to others so you'll leave them with a good memory and no regrets, than being obsessive and tried to owning the people you love eventhough you know they didn't loved you and they might be happier with someone else than you. Sadly, JY was the second one, not to mention like @Vitiate said JY treated NE like an utter crap --". knowing that you're dying doesn't give you the rights to do anything as you pleased and asks people to understand your selfish action. However, I agree that both lead male have done NE wrong, but since there's only the two of them we don't have any other option left, do we? Hope there's another/third lead male for NE X)))

I don't get why would JY think he had the rights to not let NE goes to JT and keep her by his side when he knew he's dying and will leave her soon. Isn't it selfish? Especially when NE doesn't seem to love him yet at this state. Why writer, why? I tried so hard liking JY character but everytime I tried the writer keeps proving that he is a jerk.

this drama is crazy, makes me go crazy waiting for their next episodes, it's so addicting. How can I survive to wait another week for the new episodes @_@. Need to applaud the writer & director, brilliant plot & perfect execution = perfect combo, wish that I could download that webtoon on my phone or buy that manhwa XD

Yeah, that was a jaw dropping moment, never thought at all he'd shot her for real, I was quite as shocked as her. Need the subs to understand it better though. Why would he think he had the right to do so, to his life saver only to get an answer.

Yes, been on ep 9 and now I get that it's a part of the main story/revealation, am just glad they'll make an explanation for that instead just getting it from nowhere,. Thank you for replying ^^

Yes, they're so looked a like, that was my first thought too when I first saw her, imo she is really similiar to SHK except maybe less chubbier? XD

this is definitely more interesting than doctors , I still love doctors but it turns out to be ordinary, not unique like they seems they would be when I saw their first episodes. I know that good rating doesn't always equal to a good drama, but I hope this drama gets more acknowledgement with a better rating because they deserves it, really.

Hmm am only at ep 6, tbh I don't like ep 1 either since I don't get their jokes/characters and found it's too crazy, but they're getting better and don't know how to say it but you'll get used to their weirdness, now am loving it

yes, had to agree with you, the plot is kinda messy, so all over the place, they threw so much drama (like NE & NE's dad accident, JY's brain tumor) so early but it's not worth at all since it didn't give enough impacted to the story and seeing ep 1 till ep 6 there's almost no plot movement. Am not really liking KWB & Suzy character in this drama as well (he's a jerk & arrogant, she's whiny & loud). It's too bad because I love KWB & Suzy alot. I loved KWB's acting more than LMH's on the heirs (although I didn't like that drama) and was expecting UF because of that. I don't know, maybe it's the writer's fault? She tends to create an annoying main character from what I saw in her past drama (or maybe is it just me who's feeling that way? x_x). Am tired to see JY yelling at NE and so did NE to JY. Hope it's getting better. To be honest, I don't know where is this drama heading to after throwing so much drama in their plate so early when they had 20 episodes in total & 14 episodes to go. How will they manage that? Since for me it's only ep 6 and it's already getting boring.

Been watching till ep 6, why is this drama getting more and more depressing? I know it's a melo, and I love melo, but to see them constantly like this (all that yelling, misunderstanding, etc) with so little plot movement, it's just getting tiresome. And why were they create JY's mom character like that? She is so irritating to watch till I wish they'd deleted all of her scene (^^,!)
I hope they'll give us a better pace too since I don't really get the part when JY fell for NE in the past since they've made us think they had a really deep relationship in the past but looking at their flashback still not so much, maybe they'll revealed it later but for now it's just really confusing @_@
