When real world and novel/game world interwoven together, every moment in the novel world represent fragments of real life issue, experience & their own demon in the real world, this is such a well crafted, thoughtful drama with beautiful message to tell, a meaningful drama that goes beyond what I expect from a light romcom, they gave me so much more & at this rate I don't really care if they ever kiss or not coz the chemistry & beautiful message is more than enough to make up for it, in fact it makes me feel ashamed to have asked for more.

The show has more depth with beautiful meaning & self discovery more than most adults drama to me, you need to watch more ep to understand & not let that prejudice/ the surface fools you, the drama might be light but hv beautiful message to tell, even way mature than many mature drama I've watched

Judging from all the spoiler I've seen, I actually prefer the drama's closure ending than the novel since I find it's more beautiful with deeper meaning & thoughtful while the extra chapter of the novel was rather weird & less coherent nor meaningful to me.

Moonlight is Iqiyi's production & I think only wetv on SEA works differently where some of Iqiyi's were shown on WeTV (Tencent) as well. Even so, now Moonlight despite being an older drama is sitting on Top 7 on Iqiyi
When the director show the ML finally has 100% feelings (w/ great message btw) but let the viewers get stucked at 99% coz the lack of kiss scenes 😂 Why so stingy, director? 😅 How can we move on?, how can not we ask for more? I foresee Iqiyi reaped the $$ as many will watch/rewatch Moonlight right after this 🤣

Fu Zhou (ML, guessing it's his pen's name), the author has a secret crush on Miaomiao in the past. He may tired himself out creating his work, it's affecting his health & he went unconscious. He left his last work unfinished/hanging & his company/editor finished it & release it without his consent.
Fu Zhou being on limbo got sucked into the game he create while regretting his life to end that way, he start to wish if he can meet Miaomiao again, thus his 'desperate calling' was granted so that's how they started their journey in the gaming realm as Zi Qi and Miaomiao/Lin Yu 🤣
