I would give it a 7-8, the romance it much more focus compare to the plot. You have to watch a few eps to see whether you like it, i like the chemistry between the leads but there are some who complain about it, to each their own ^^

He has a self healing power that he gave up to help yulian, he probably inherited it from being half human half kunwu. He was able to go one on one with the dragon king's spirit and able to beat yulian when he couldnt before. His friend/bodyguard made a comment that he didnt need his protection anymore, so in my opinion he gotten much stronger toward the end. I agree with you, the synopsis is different from the drama lixuan was suppose to save the human and kunwu clans and achieve peace, but instead the focus is on yulian and her mission which is boring compare to if they have focus on lixuan and his background. I heard this drama was cut short from 60 to 28, so that might be the reason...

Yes, the main leads in the legend also the main leads in arsenal military. They have great chemistry.

In my opinion love comes with trust, so seeing yulian not trusting lixuan with her identity even after they gotten together make me feel yulian doesnt love lixuan as much as he loves her. She always listen to her master every words, even when he told her to kill lixuan, she actually pulls out her knife intending to kill him. We never see her agonizes over her decision of keeping her identity a secret. I understand she has a mission of rescuing her people, but imagine if she has confided in lixuan and he could've help her, instead we got so many scenes of yulian relying on prince mu when they're not even together. Also making plan with another guy to hurt the guy you love is a no in my opinion, i just hated this plot point, it makes her look so bad.

Yun Shan and Xiao Fengmin's relationship i also like; they're more lighthearted compare to the main couple, but later on they also have some angst to their relationship...Funny I'm rewatching it, and i want to skip some of their scenes together since they're not part of the main story line ^^. I like Long weier identity as the second prince, and i find her story of having to disguise as a guy to survive her father's suspicion is very touching, i love strong female and just wish youlian has a better characterization and background compare to what we got in this drama.

It kind of annoying when this fiance clearly see lixuan is not interest in her, but still insist on marrying him. I think this happen in many other Chinese dramas as well, where the person just won't take a hint to just move on, and find someone else better suited. The main story was push back to add more unnecessary love triangle, i would've like long weier to be introduce much earlier into the story cause her story is much more interesting compare to yulian honestly.

I just assume you wrote their love was strong enough lol, i disagree like i wrote above they both hurt each other in the process, but they were able to come together again and forgiving the other's shortcoming is what make their love much stronger than any other young lovers in my opinion.

I'm the type to watch a show to the end so i don't skip, i would just stop watching if i dont like it... By skipping you will not understand much of the story, also it is a short drama so i dont feel it's that heart breaking actually. True there are some sad moments here and there, what frustrated me about this drama is the script is weak, main leads could've solve all their problems if they could communicate better, if fl trust in ml even a little bit would have save them all the heartaches. She has a mission to save her people, but she doesn't seem capable; the script made her rely on sml too much as a result making her look weaker than she was portray in the beginning...It's still an enjoyable drama cause of all the casts; xukai and wu jia yi did a good job with their roles, both of them look very young, so they really match as a young couple, also all their matching outfits just make them even cuter ^^

I also can't stop listening to the ost of this drama, the opening feel like lixuan inner monologue while the ending feel like yulian's. I think this drama just has the most beautiful love music; it just moved you to tears since it's so fitting to their situation when it comes up, that is once of the strength of this drama, and i guess i'm a romantic at heart lol :)

I feel like lixuan trust yulian alot actually, otherwise being rejected by her in front of everyone and then seeing her together with prince mu would've make any other guy gave up, but he didnt he choose to believe her when long weier accuse yulian of being a spy from the kunwu clan. Most people would think this guy is so stupid to not suspect her at all, but that not true, he did suspect her, he asks the old man from the mysterious land about her, but after that he choose to trust her,and believe in their love until she betray him. She hurt him, and he hurt her in return, but as long as they both love each other, they could forgive and forget so yes they love is strong enough to survive so much hardship.

I am a xukai fan, so i'll watch any show he's in. The only one i haven't watch is untouchable lover since he is not main, but I saw some clips of them and they're so cute together in that...Wu jia yi just looks adorable in that show, so i know they will be a cute couple in this one as well. I'm rewatching this show, and it heartbreaking seeing lixuan suffer so much for his love; I feel the same, the one to blame are the adults, these two are very young to have such huge responsibilities. Just wish yulian could trust lixian and confided in him, it just feel weird that she would trust prince mu over lixian when she love him.

Yeah, this show is very funny with its silly moments and then all of a sudden it gone all serious back and forth from serious to light, like lixuan went from depressing one moment to making you laugh from his antics with the cute little monk...The old man was warning him he will die if he leave, but i couldn't take his warning seriously when all he got was a beating and each time he was able to survive lol (or maybe because the old man was a good healer ^_^)

I am rewatching it, his crying scenes feel so real that you can't help but feel for him. I can understand it might be hard for some people.

What do you think of the drama so far, from the mid way points the angst is coming.

I'm waiting for all his dramas, he is good at making chemistry with all his leading ladies.

I like the short hair look he has actually. Probably to match with fl. If he has nice hairdo, he might look better than her, and she will be criticize even more than she already gotten. Also in this drama, lixuan is not suppose to be handsome, at least not as handsome as prince mu, from the hair to his earring and outfits the production did everything they could to make him stand out, it like they were promoting him; yulian even describes prince mu as the most handsome in school.
