I didn't think that actor has more screentimes than xk. They were in the same scenes alot and travel together, on the other hand he does has more screentimes than the fl, but this is because she is his teacher and stayed behind in the sect. I love more dramas with xk that is like once upon a time that has less romance and focus more on the plot ^^

So chengxi palace is different from novel and drama is portraying them as weak while in novel they're not weak at all.

Why are they being chased out of chang'an in novel? In the drama from the 1st ep, it's already known that chengxi palace has lost its reputation for 100 years and was ridicule by everyone even humans.

I think snake lord and meisi interaction are meant to be comic relief. I'm also liking that both snake lord and cat lord are good friends and are not enemies vying for power. Wz being cat lord but is half demon is not welcome by every demon, that rat elder was scheming to take over power from her. I'm glad to see she's not a pushover and punished him for breaking the rule. I'm loving wz weapons, when she's human she uses a crossbow, and when she's a demon she's using a whip in ep 7 to punish that elder. Does anyone knows what the words on her whip meant? Mzy has been hiding his identity as a disciple of chengxi palace that why he has been keeping his abilities a secret from wz and others so he can investigate the death of his parents, he suspected it was caused by demons that why he's working in the investigation bureau and why he wants to get promoted so he can further his investigation. We're introduce to a new character in ep 7, he came from the same faction as mzy but he doesn't seem to be as powerful as mzy. I'm seeing 3 possible couples in this drama so far, the 1st are mzy and wz, the 2nd are snake lord and meisi and the 3rd are wz's assistant and mzy's younger brother.

I didn't have high expectation for them in the first place. If they were as good as they were, they wouldn't be losing their reputation and being look down on by the demon world and has to hide from society. Mzy might've been the rare talent that come from chengxi palace. Is changxi palace is stronger in novel than drama?

The opening and ending for this drama looks very artistic. I'm usually the type who is into listening to the soundtracks and getting meaning from the lyrics as well as seeing the actors in the opening and ending but for this drama i'm loving the artistic direction it's taking and feel it's very fitting to the atmosphere and putting us in the mood as well as the mysterious tone of this drama. This director has done a very good job setting the tone and introduce us to the different characters that i don't feel overwhelm from being introduce to them, i feel this drama is meant to be watch slowly to fully appreciate it. From watching 7 eps so far i think this is a very good drama and deserve all the praises. If it keep going at this pace i think it will be one of the top dramas in august and this year ^^

Yes it's, only really popular characters and popular actors get that number i think. I remember while watching best choice ever i kept seeing yangzi fans posted her character popularity so that must means something ^^

If xukai has sign for this drama then it must've a good script, he has to be interested in this role to sign for it, if his management was trick to sign for it he could back out, so i don't think we should believe all the rumors until we see it ourselves.

Let not make assumption, i heard some good words about this actor and if it's going to be a brotherhood kind of story i'm looking forward to it. Xukai has done too many romance dramas already he needs to do more ml centric dramas and dramas pairing him with actors like in once upon a time in lingian mountain. I really love that drama and was hoping he will get a similar script like that drama again ^^

I'm still in early eps i don't get writer obsession writing sml(s). Is this only in drama or also in novel, i heard novel doesn't have misunderstanding between the cp. I hope the same for the drama, and if it does we will get a long make up session and a good ending ^^

Who said mzy is not a great taoist master, watching to ep 6 he's showing his mastery by killing a demon by himself, and this demon even wz assistant and wz herself has a hard time dealing with. Love xukai doing martial art, he should be in more wuxia genre. Mzy gotten hit by the miasma and pretending to be fool by the demon is because he want to hide his identity from wz. I love ep 6, we got more bonding time between mzy and wz, i'm starting to see mzy and wz getting closer now that they're starting to understand each other. Mzy able to identify wz from the female demon and wz kissed mzy to draw out his poison and after she even has a secret smile like she is truly starting to feel something for him ^^

Wz's assistant seem have feeling for her, i hope he will not be an obstacle in mzy and wz relationship, i hate love triangle, i never get smls when xukai is the ml.

The damage has been done, if you look at youtube there're many negative posts about him popped up just after that woman's false allegation against him. And they're still there to misled those who don't know him to smear his image and reputation. She has to be hold responsible for the damage to his reputation and bann from using social media and pay a heavy fine for causing trouble to him and to others who gotten caught up in it.
