The show does a good job of getting the balance right with these flawed human beings. Isn't it just like human beings to make decisions that they live to regret later? Self-sabotage is real.
I've never been married because that's how I view marriage 😅
Like everything in life, the success of marriage largely depends on the people in it. That's the point of the show I imagine. The problem is that most people don't put in the same kind of effort into their marriages the way they do for their careers or jobs. It's ironic that most would slave away for their employers and wouldn't even put in a fraction of the effort for their spouses or children.
You must've been in luck last year then. Legal dramas were almost all we got. And yeah, definitely recognising…
Most of the legal dramas came out really in the final quarter of 2022 and I did watch a few of them. But I don't really consider $1 Lawyer a true legal drama -- it was more of a superhero origins story.
I too am a big fan of The Good Detective franchise.
This is a far more interesting show than I've been led to believe. It probably helps that I actually like legal dramas. It's obvious that Eun-beom didn't cheat on Ha-ra and his antics are really quite intriguing. Humorous and fascinating. Everything he does feels deliberately counterintuitive. There are resonances of Oh Ji-hyeok from The Good Detective here.
There have been some great K and C dramas airing during this Dec-January period but this one is unequivocally my favourite. What the heck... I think it's the best one.
Jing Boran. Love his vocal delivery.
