In the drama, she has the type of “smarts” as that we see in dramas like story of minglan, or story of yanxi palace. Not as intensely but very similar

The book was more slice of life, this drama is 10x more dramatic with evil being extremely evil . The FL was more cunning/smartin the novel. Idk….
