I’m watching VOS and I remember that I didn’t finish this. I paused halfway through because at the time I could only watch things that had happy endings (life was rough and I got the vibe at some point that this wasn’t a HE) but now VOS reminds me so much of this. Should pick this back up? How did it end? It doesn’t have to be HE but did the main characters die?

I think they will separate of course cause of the situation with Jiu Ying etc. however they spent all that time as a married couple so they will get back together eventually and stay that way I think. Maybe even develop a good partnership. But she first has to get through going back to the moon and so much more before that. I have hope for them to be steadier.

Whereas the other couple, they keep hurting each other. Betraying each other’s trust. And they have that same self sacrificing behavior. I will not be surprised if one of them dies for the other.

The moment he let himself get hurt by Jiu Ying in LWY, and she woke up from the possession and he realized that was Jiu Ying’s weakness, they were both destined to repeat that moment again 😫☹️
