In the book their separation and the traitor plot felt dramatic. Like agony. True enemies to lovers in that portion. Here it feels so minor.

Like:

I thought they’ consummate before this? If I’m not mistaken the day he visits his mom’s grave he takes advantage of her coming to look for him while he was bathing.

Actually this is very true. I never even thought about it like this. maybe he thought she was safe because Li Wenkan was with her?

I prefer historical C-Dramas, I’m currently watching POJ so I was watching this while I wait. This is my first time encountering mental health issues in a C drama, or at least major mental health issues. I’m highly disappointed.

Also what type of counselor is this? He’s more likely to cause a psychotic episode than to help her rehabilitate. If she’s known for violence why stalk her and grab her on the street? Why invade her work life like this? He’s more likely to cause a relapse than anything else she’s going through.

So HR pulls her into the office to discuss her private medical records, but doesn’t investigate the leak ? Or even make an announcement about how this shouldn’t be discussed ?

This wasn’t even based off a book. They did not have to commit to that type of ending 😭

Mind you, I have rewatched and still refuse to go further, cause what do you mean they all died ?! I can’t stomach it 😫😫😫

See, I never finished but my spider senses kicked in and said it probably doesn’t get better after the kids death. I til this day have never finished AJTY because in the later episodes, almost all the main supporting characters died. Stopped at ep 33. 😭😭

Can you imagine? I said I was going to stop watching to save all the episodes so I can binge watching them, that lasted 24 hours.

She doesn’t wanna take care of him ? fine. but why are you starving him and living in his house? And using his money. Inmates are treated better. He didn’t even get water.

Considering he’s the one leading the rebellion, he might just be as evil if not more

I was truly wondering I’m like did they forget to edit that out? But that’s another creative angle that they took with this story. I’m impressed.

I love the creative freedom the writers utilize here. In the book, we don’t know if she dies From the massacre, So they got creative here how they pictured it kudos to them!
