Actually this has been shifting k-ent culture wise this year. People getting sick of visual only focused and really being drawn toward strong acting/scripts etc. The usual 'visual' actors are facing a fair amount of backlash from the gp regarding their acting. And seonho is a world wide hearthrob (get that your tastes are different) especially after Hometown Cha CHa CHa (also a strong drama, not about visuals).

Huh? that was an ensemble cast and very niche genre and he got tons of acting praise for it. Folks who loved the genre and were The Witch fans LOVED it.; It still gets talked about on Naver and other Korean Platform etc, especially for his performance.
