I haven't seen much of his acting, but the little I have, it looks pretty good. He seems to have the ability to portray this sensitive, vulnerability in his eyes, when he cries/has tears in them, etc..
I saw clips where he became amazingly skilled with archery and appears to love horses too! I read a comment, I think on twitter(π€?) where it said that he grew his hair out for 2 years for that role in the movie. He was very dedicated.
